I have self esteem, my entire sense of self worth doesn't revolve around a basketball or football team like most ku fans.   Therefore I am more than willing too admit that at least in AFH and against our collection of stay puff marshmallows that are our big guys . . . they stand a good chance of beating K-State rather handily.   I expect them to come out with their hair on fire . . . we are pretty much their Super Bowl.

Not sure if this has any effect on your predictions. The officials for Tuesday's game are John Higgins, Scott Thornley and Steve Welmer. However, to my understanding Welmer hurt his foot Saturday doing the ku game in East Lansing so there will probably be someone else.

I only point this out because Kansas State's success hinges on its defensive capabilities to get out and pressure the ball. If the officials go into Tuesday's game with the intention of calling it tight then K-State will have an extremlely difficult time winning.

If both teams are allowed to play a physical game then the advantage goes to K-State in my opinion.

Just some useless insight and drivel from my perspective. But it certainly is interesting to me the amount of K-State/ku games John Higgins has done in the past.

The game should be something of a track meet which definitely suits our style more.  Unfortunately they have post players that have a shred of skill, so we'll be f'ed there.  I think we'll play with them to an extent, but never be much of a threat.   I do think we have a pretty decent chance of betting them at home though.

Game is in the fieldhouse - will be extraordinarily tough for the Kats to win. Gaurd play will be absolutely critical for KSU. They will literally live by the three as I see that being their only viable gameplan. I see alot of "Collins/any gaurd who brings the ball down-pass-to-Aldrich-who-then-scores/is fouled." Should be a destructive outing. I see the game in Bram being much more competitive.

If we held OU to 60, there's no reason we can't do the same to ku.  If we limit turnovers, we've got a chance.

More likely we'll be down by 20 at some point in the game, but hopefully close to within single digits by the end.
