I would guess it's some juco guy we haven't even heard of at this point, thats the way this stuff usually comes up.  A name just pops up on the radar from some Juco in Utah, or Washington, or some random JUCO program.

I value your opinion, Pete, but on this we'll disagree.

I really like Klein.  I don't think he's as good as Alex Smith (as some true  think), but I think he's a good fit for the kind of offense that Snyder plans on running.  He has a decent arm, and he's deceptively mobile.  He performed really well against some good competition in Colorado, so I have hope for him.

However, as for the rest of them, I agree.  After some possibly misplaced optimism in Klein, I agree with everything you say.

Except for Thomas.  I don't think he'd even be as good as Webb.  If he's not toting the rock as a change of pace back, and he's actually taking snaps, the  has lost his mind.

Another thing about Kass that people don't seem to remember is, there were a lot of teams that weren't even going to give him a look at QB and were wanting him to be a TE or maybe a FS or something if I remember right.

So unless someone has seen something first hand, I don't see where all the Kass support at QB comes from either.

Hartman will be the Snyderesque qb that we are looking for.  He will run the counter option to perfection and we will kill all those defenses that are geared to stoping the spread!

QFT.  He showed true leadership out there, unlike a certain coddled "me-first" type star that comes to mind.

I would rather lose every game we have next year with a QB who does it the "K-State Way", than win a single game with a prima donna.

Coffman is very Schwinn-y IMO.

He had two offers: North Texas and KSU.  He should have walked on like Schwinn did.

This fan base needs a practice quad, Spring game wonder like Keithen Valentine to pin our unrealistic hopes to for the off-season.

He could be.  The only thing that gives him a leg up on the competition is that he actually ran a similar spread offense in high school to the one Snyder wants to implement, so he has a leg up on the other guys.

Now, that said, I'd still take the kid from Rockhurst over anyone we've got on the roster.
