St.Marys

QFT THey have a "Catholic Academy/Church/Cult that even the pope has disowned. Even heard rumors that they have an artilery of weapons stashed in the bell tower near the church for "The Day". THey have pretty much bought everything that has came up for sale in that town. It is their goal to take the town over. If you are a member your paychecks go to the church and then it is divided amongst the members. most dont have jobs and rely on the goverment to help raise their families. Most of which have 15+ kids.
I think my dad and I are the only Christian people in this town.

That surplus store is the sexy though.

Pretty sure Winters nailed this one. I take back my earlier Sabetha talk... St Marys is weirder than weird. I used to work there one half day a month... freak town full of freak people.

All of these towns seem to have a ton of similarities wether it's a cult, sluts, or no ATM.  With that being said, wouldn't that make O.P. the weirdest? :dunno:
Here's hoping that Clams is chillin' with someone cool up in that big EMAW in the sky. RIP Clams, RIP.

I forgot about St. Mary's. Did anyone know there's a guy there that declared himself Pope?

Honestly I'm gonna miss you Mark!!
Quote
He has never been ordained as a priest and hasn’t been to Mass since 1989. But to his tiny flock, numbering about 100 and scattered as far away as India and Australia, he is the rightful leader of the Catholic Church.

Bawden, 45, has claimed the title of Michael I since 1990, when he was elected by six people two of them his mother and now-deceased father meeting in his father’s consignment store in nearby Belvue. He has maintained his "Vatican in Exile" near Delia for the past dozen years.

thats some weird crap. I have family in that area and they are catholic but not with that kooky clan.  I worked in Belvue for a yr and the head office was in St. Marys, i can also agree there are some strange mofos in that town and they are trying to buy up the whole area but there are some successful and wealthy farmers and business men that will not let this happen.

That's a good candidate for a thread about weirdest dudes.  Seriously, are all of you flunking out of school?  Does no one understand the topic?

was in St. Marys for a couple hours today. i love as your heading into town coming from the south, when you get to the T in the road and left is Marys and right is Rossville, the first "house" as you turn left is a trailer house that has been surrounded in brick in an attempt to make it look nice and permanent... total lollerz.  The Health Food store is a gem also, that place can't have food and if it does it has to be under a 3ft deep pile of old 80's handme down clothes.  :scared:
