Many wonderful ideas in this thread. 

THE single most important concept when having a weekly show is having a tight format and clear transitions.  I tried to hammer that home with Winters last time around, and I suspect that he has learned that I was right upon further reflection.

As far as categories and awards go, I think you may need to do a "lifetime achievement" award, or some such....but that would have to be a yearly award, not weekly.  I'd like to nominate Catzacker for inventing the term "K-Statriotism."  Life changing event, IMO.

I have been giving this some thought, I and I now believe that giving Fats any award at all is like cheering for Burt Reynolds to pick up hot chicks.  Not hard to do, and you'll almost always be vindicated.  Not real "gutsy," ya know?

Maybe just let Fats sit in the front row like Jack Nicholson and be the pleasant demeanor butt of a bunch of jokes during the monologue.......you dudes are doing monologues, right?
