    warm up the EMAW
I give it a 4, pretty good Lou confusion, excellent stanbot frozen smile of approval seeking but not all that I might have hoped for.  Hard to get too much unintentional comedy out of a 30 second 'erview.

Better luck next time team!

they both got back to doing what they do well.  can't ask for more than that.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

So, like, the stuff that was 100% BS about Lou having a bad shoulder last year and that was what held him back was not, maybe, BS?

Really could explain why he was mediocre in year one, actually retarded in year 2, and mediocre again in year three.  I think the physical condition also adds to it.

Whatever happened to Lou, we should have done to Kent two years ago.  Just sayin...

Colon was never as good as he is now.  He's just developed under top flight coaching.  His hands are infinitely better than they were coming in.  Hands and physical conditioning have been his greatest leaps.  He's always been a pretty strong kid with decent feet.

only thing that's going to kill him in conference play is that power dribble he insists on taking before putting the ball up.  my only knock on him so far this year, well, that and he needs to know when to back off and not commit fouls close to the basket.

Well, he'll get destroyed against good bigs.  But he can finally score on smaller or crappier bigs because and he can catch a pass and hang on to a rebound now.

most likely, it's almost like our 'bigs' move in slow motion sometimes.

The best way for Darren to continue to contribute at K-State would be to join the golf team. Being white, slow & soft is not a good combo for a bball player in the Big12.
