Colon was never as good as he is now. He's just developed under top flight coaching. His hands are infinitely better than they were coming in. Hands and physical conditioning have been his greatest leaps. He's always been a pretty strong kid with decent feet.

But he can finally score on smaller or crappier bigs because and he can catch a pass and hang on to a rebound now.
