Anyone watch Futurama? It's the episode where Fry wants to bring back his dog from 1000 yrs ago, but then decides he's probably led a good life. Flash to the present of the dog waiting years in the same place for Fry to come back. One of the most unexpected, heartbreaking things I'd ever seen.
