Official Women's Vollyball NCAA Tourney Thread

Once again K-State's women volleyball team is packing up from the safe confines of Ahearn Field House (err, wtf happened against ISU??) and heading to Seattle of the Pacific Northwest, this year for a match against Broncos of Santa Clara University.    Yes volleyball fans, that's the same Santa Clara that beat us in 2006 at the Fresno State Invitational.  UW is the host of this tourney bracket; our first round matche takes place on 12/5 at 4pm CDT.  Assuming we have our vengeance upon Santa Clara, we'll meet up with UW on Saturday, 12/6, again, at 4pm CDT.

I miss Stacy Spiegelberg (Evridge's wife).  IMO, hottest KSU athlete ever.

FWIW, this sets up a potential 2nd-round matchup with ex-KSU coach Jim McLaughlin, who left K-State for Washington, and later won a NC (but he beat Nebraska to do it!).

Or the Deb Patterson.  It seems like both teams are regularly top 10-15 teams that get upset EVERY year in the tournament.
