and wally will be much better than jamar, but in few years jamar will be impressive after he puts on more muscle, overall k-state will be amazing storied program in long run, great job coach martin and coach hill

i really wouldn't put label Wally the savior next year right now man.  no one in that class has near the hype that the guys coming out of the '07 class did.
wally is only a 5 star

as was jason bennett
lol dude wally has ups, bennette was just fracking tall

Bennett was ranked on that sliding scale recruiting services used to rank Wooly's overseas guys.  Subtract 2 1/2 stars if compariing JB to domestic talent.

just naming 5 stars since he threw it out there.  can't expect every 5 star we get/will get to be as productive as Beasley was as a freshman.  i really, really hope i'm wrong, but Beasley was a special player and that '07 class was insane.
i aint saying wally will be beasley, im just saying wally will be a special player because martin can work with talent like him

about average age wise.

prob true.  but all the supposed upgrades from this year will be young.  cept kelly.  they'll be better in '10-11, imo.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

The loss of a veteran PG makes me hesitant to call '10-11 the golden year, IMO '09-10 will be better.

no way.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

At least Russel and McG will have a year under their belt.

Jake will be a senior and Russell will be a sophomore.  '09-10 might be closer to last year b/c we play 10x better defense than last year and i expect big things in '10-11.

by then we'll have a suitable replacement.

you don't lose one player and get worse, like...ever. If KSU returned walker this year, we'd be better than last year.

Frank prefers the two guard system, seems like going from two vets to a vet and some young guys will be difficult.

And you've gotta get worse eventually.

what's the difference between a junior and sophomore PG's (this year) and a senior and sophomore PG's ('10-11)?  Clemente hasn't really shown to be better than Pullen was last year so far this season.

It's not like I'm saying they'll tank in 10-11, I just don't think they'll be better than 09-10.  Just my IMO dude, it's sort of impossible to prove it right or wrong.

you completely underrated how much our 2009 recruiting class will get better after one season. And, we add the 2010 class as well. Think about it, we lose 1 legit player (den-clem) the next 2 years and we add up to 5 legit players.

We'll be much better 2 years from now.

QFT.  I guess it's just hard too see it that way right now because Denis is so valuable to this current team.

I'm sorry, I'll consult the manual on improvements FUTURE players will make in the FUTURE next time.  My bad.

not trying to attack you as it's only my opinion as well, but we're only a short way into this season.  i think the fact that VMI beat Kentucky at their place and we lost to them really is pissing me off.  time for a nappy nap to sleep it off like i did with the Snyder (re)hire.

Don't forget to take into account the future players that we don't even know about yet into the equation.  I think we need that Doc from Back to the Future to explain all of this to us.  Plus, if future players run into current players, does that totally &@#% up the spacetime continuum?    :ohno:
