I don’t see what is wrong with Mangino. It’s the schedule. When you play 3 top 5 teams (OU, UT, TT) it’s kind of tough. He’s competing in the North and taking ku to a bowl game for the consecutive years for the first time in ever. Next year will be the same, but if he manages to get to a bowl again, then he starts (albeit with a new QB) that easier south schedule and it’s not like the North is anything rough. He's the only coach in the North to make it to a BCS bowl as a head coach and assistant. That' ain't bad.
