Heat are dominating so far. Up 14 at the end of the first. Beasley with 8, I do believe.

He has 20 after 3 quarters but just went limping towards the locker room. Someone must have yelled something to him as he was leaving the court because he yelled back "I'm good.....I'm good". Either he was talking about his physical condition or I guess he could have been talking about his game.

Looked pretty good, hugely better than a few weeks back during the preseason.

Beasley had his second 20-point game in a row, finishing with 20 points, eight rebounds and three assists and briefly left the game with what the Heat described as a left shin contusion. He later returned to the bench, and the team said X-rays were negative.  Chalmers continued to struggle with his offense, but had seven assists, one steal and a block.  It was another defensively pesky performance for Chalmers, who set a franchise record with nine steals Wednesday against Philadelphia.

The Heat converted its first 16 free throws, with rookie forward Michael Beasley 10 of 10 during that perfection. It closed 20 of 22 from the line.

Just out of curiosity for you NBA fans.... how far is MB from being the best player in the league?

He's a long ways away from being the best in the league.   Kobe would just mop up the floor with MB.  Beasley's good, but not even close to being the best player on the Heat, let alone the league.  Give him time and keep him healthy, he's going to be okay.  He MIGHT make the Eastern Division All-Star roster if he keeps playing well.  He'll be on the Rookie Challenge roster that weekend if he doesn't make the team.
