Saw the Atlanta vs. Chicago game. Matt Ryan is the second coming of Joe Montana. The Chiefs should have traded up to get him.

Would require common sense. Any management team that has Brodie Croyle as your "QB of the Future" lacks the needed common sense to do something that you just said.

I can't be mad at them though. At the time everybody said that Glenn Dorsey might be the best player in the draft.

Let's think... What is a more important/pressing need for the Chiefs, quarterback or d-tackle? (they have a lot)

As long as Carl is there the Chiefs won't sniff .500

I don't disagree with you on Carl but you think that Tank Tyler and Ron Edwards were better than Glenn Dorsey? Seriously?

No.

But is the level of drop off worse than Brodie Croyle/Thigpen/Huard to Matt Ryan??

Obviously we both think that they made a mistake in not trading up to get Ryan.....I'm just saying that they didn't make a mistake in selecting Dorsey. Plus there's no way that the Falcons were not going to end up with Ryan considering what their franchise has been through.

You're right. The only way the Chiefs don't &@#% it up this year is if they lose out. Which I hope they do.

I don't think anyone expected this of Atlanta this year. They are going to be the Browns of last season.

It's funny how ever since the NFC South came into existence the team that finished last won it the next season. Atlanta finished last in 2007 and people laughed when that stat was brought up, and I know that there's a 3 way tie in the division and New Orleans isn't that far behind, but they may not be laughing for much longer.
