New system, new coach, first game, opponent has nothing to lose playing us. Reasoning and excuses are endless so it seems like we could put the razor blades away for one week.
Next week should be a win and I expect we will see some changes to the depth chart (safety, left tackle, running back for sure and D line). We need to remember that Mier is one step from a freshman starter and should improve. My thought is he hasn't played for the better part of two years and is starting in a new system so not sure we should be expecting Senior leadership from the start.
