kanye blows, the apple songs are good. sorry kanye is all you have, 2008!
LOL- I knew Saul'd throw up. it's pretty slick.
It's cool for awhile.
as much as you don't want to admit it, it's a computer just like your pc is one. it's ironic that a nerd like yourself would give a linux based system such drama. the machine will outperform everything else in its class, and that's why i ultimately decided on it. i've been banging around on computers since my first commodore 64 and honestly i'm sick of microsoft crap and want to learn something new.
It's an overpriced toy with an OS based on UNIX, not Linux. I really don't have much of a problem with the Mac OS either for that matter, it's stable but it's difficult to tweak, doesn't give you many options and software is limited when compared to PC.
The hardware however is overpriced and properitary which drives me crazy. I can build my own PC but good luck trying to build a MAC.
it's a toy and not a computer? i thought it was a computer, i must have missed something.
meh, i meant unix. linux rocks unix, you knew what i meant. and ya, the hw is for the most part properitary but so is most of dell's crap. i guess in the end i felt like i've built a lot of pc's and didn't feel like messing with it this time around. it's a good machine.
Wife has a MacBook that I bought her for v-day awhile back, no problems w/ it. Agree Dell is alot of prop. stuff but not nearly as much, mainly just motherboard, powersupply. I can throw any old CD/DVD drive, hard drive, video card, etc in to a dell, not so with a Mac.
I don't play w/ Linux too much, don't really have the time or inclination. My job focuses on Windows so that is what I use, but i'll point out that Microsoft has crappy QA, just look at Vista and the 360!
