Carl will take a UCLA QB.  Probably the crappy walk on.

The NFL should attempt to hide their mancrush on the Pats a lil' better in the next game.

5-11

When you don't whistle the very definition of PI it's a little bit obvious.  I bet the refs held a vigil for brady at halftime.

Barely a third string QB IMO.  However, Huard is a house of cards in the pocket.

In summary, Freems would take that job day 1.

Yes, and like ^^^^ said, after he graduates plz :)

As for the Chiefs 2008 team, 7-9 although I haven't looked at the schedule at all, could be 5-11 worst case IMO, 8-8 best case

Defense really inexperienced, didn't look that good vs NE despite 17 pts

O line is OK at passblocking, but still cannot open a 3" hole in the run game

Jamal Charles is better than Larry Johnson

If Bowe would have caught the easy pass on 1st down, that would have been moot.

Point taken, but mine is still accurate.

It was too close to call.  It's going to go to the home team, especially the Pats, most of the time.

Regardless, the Chiefs either botch the 2pt conversion or lose in OT.

I think it's of great consolation that the Chefs have already played playoff spoiler for a team.

    ANGRY AS F*CK
I didn't feel the need to start a new thread, it's somewhat related to the Chiefs.

I'm in Boston right now, and it's very LOL around here today.  You'd think that somebody died the way people are acting.  I made the mistake of telling a guy I am working for that I'm a Chiefs fan and he about ripped my head off.  haha

Funny, I thought the defense played ok.  Even without Brady, the Pats bring alot to the table.  For a mostly young defense I was mildly encouraged.
The oline was going up against a formidable defensive front.  So though they weren't overpowering, they weren't that bad.  Probably going to be one of the tougher d-lines they'll play this year.  Pass protection was decent too.

No it wasn't, it was plain as day, his left hand was holding down Bowes left arm, hence the ball flying right in front of Bowes face instead of the typical bouncing off of his hands.  The ref should be fined and suspended for a game.  It's blatant homerism.  There is no gray area here.

No argument.

Agreed.

I read where you went all meltdown about that one play. . .I also read on espn.com that Croyle is out this week, so at least the Chiefs have a chance to beat the Raiders this week.

You're finally getting it, it was a blatant homer call, and that's where my issues end.  I don't give a frack that they lost, I'm down for 0-16 and the number one pick.  But stupid is stupid.

Yes the retard fight this weekend should be interesting.

I'm actually hoping that game will be blacked out. . .

BTW

Did anyone else see that the chargers had to have the local TV station buy out the last remaining tickets to their home opener so it wasn't blacked out?  I mean geez a team that has a chance of going deep into the postseason, and it is their HOME OPENER and they can't sell out?  How long until they head over to LA?

I had the Chiefs going 4-12 this year, but you can now change that to 0-16. Hopefully KC doesn't draft a QB this year & get the #1 pick again next year & they draft Josh Freeman at #1!!!

they are going to pick up reesing as an Undrafted FA, start him immediately, and continue the broncos dominance over them.
