Cookies unclaimed

Hey everyone, if you are in the Omaha area and want some free cookies they are available at the dave house.  They are sugar cookies with purple frosting.  They also say "Nice to meet you KatKid!" with white frosting.  mrs. dave spent about 5 hours baking them last friday before we went down to Manhattan.  I'm sure they would have been especially delicious on gameday but they were not claimed.  Please PM if you are interested.

Ticket situation (I was warned by KK) was weird.  Really miss the black scalpers that were always available.  Mrs. dave has an uncanny ability to go roam the parking lot and get excellent tickets but even she was shutout.  Had to get them from the ticket box.  We ended up close to the Rusty fam. and suprisingly the view of the action wasn't bad.

It would have brought up hurt feelings with mrs. dave if we had brought them out.  I think she still hung onto a little bit of hope that katkid would come by, but by then I knew better.  Just knew to keep my mouth shut or the tears would have come

Would have swung by Omaha had I known sugar frosted cookies were laying around unclaimed.  Instead stopped off in Grand Island for some chocolate Skittles.  I love chocolate and I love Skittles.  Very surprising to me that chocolate Skittles turned out to be the grossest food ever.

Alright, so csourk is in Wal-Mart and he sees these. Turns to BIGDAVEFREEMAN, "Hey Dave when did they start making these??" Dave responds, "I don't know maybe a year or so, 1 or 2 flavors are edible but the rest are teh crap."

Had a lot of friends and fam in town who didn't have tickets and wife's bro and a friend were able to get us 11 tickets for $55 by heading out to stadium a little before 5:00. They had some guy give them 6 free tickets  .

Why was the view surprisingly not bad? Because you were by 'ty or because you bought the tickets so late???

The seats are pretty bad I think. I've sat in the same place every game regardless of actual ticket for about 10 years. However, I was told a few months ago that a friend could get me on the team charter to an away game if I wanted. I was kinda  not sure I would want that... but now I think it would be cool. Will post pictures If I do it.

The thing is, the guy who told me this isn't a guy who would need to make up things, ya know. I used to work with/for him, but left a couple of months ago. My opportunity might have dried up but I really, really don't think he was full of it. I'll see him in a month and ask about it. He's a big ku guy so he doesn't have much desire to do it himself.

I saw a scalper get absolutely busted on the sidewalk on the east side.  I was all like "wtf?" 

Cops literally flew up in a golf cart and yelled "hey you, stop right there!"  I don't know what happened but didn't know they were so hardcore for a game against NT.
