If I wasn't working out for football, it would be extremely hard for me to get motivated to go work out. It's still hard a lot of the time. Whenever I lift though it gets the adriniline going. The only way to get truly motivated is to work out for something. Tell yourself, or have Mrs. Dave tell you that you will get much more sexy time if you get skinnier, or if you're fairly skinny more buff. That should get you going.

If there's one group of people I hate, it's the obsessed runners crowd.  They're all like "runners high, prefontaine, 10 miler, blah."  You should only run for a purpose: Sports, something chasing you, etc.  You don't see animals running just for the fun of it.  If you do its becaue they have rabies.

I can get behind what cd33 is saying here.  Mostly because I can't run more than 200 yards before having to take a break.  Running is really hard for me.  I see guys that look in way worse shape than me just chugging along and it pisses me off.

sometimes during the winter i'll run inside on the treadmill, between 6-7 miles.  when i get off my legs are all rubbery and kinda numb.   i always think i'm going to fall right down and bite it in front of some fabulous babes.

i picked up a 29'er this past spring and love it, i'm sure you will too.  they love to climb and are great fun.   :thumbsup:

This is why you SHOULD run. What if something was chasing you and the nearest tree was 201 yards away? Also, a good reason to throw in some pull ups and/or not live in the Serengeti.

i see what your sayin SD.  I got a real job this summer to pay for school and when 5 rolls around, the last thing i want to do is go to a really crowded gym and work out in front of everybody (kind of self conscience).  so mainly this summer i sat at a computer working 8 hours a day, went home and ate, then drank beer at night.  if i knew this formula for gaining weight back in my HS football days i'd be set.

fisher makes good 29'ers too, just depends on what you're looking for.
