Found this on another forum.

Counter-clockwise for me, my head feels like it is going to explode when I try and see her go clockwise.

I can see both.  The key is to look down, picture her spinning whichever direction you want and look up.

I finally got it clockwise, but now I can't switch back.

I saw both directions as well, but it was not easy to get the switch.  First I saw Counter...It took me a while to get her to reverse, now I can't get her to spin back again.

EDIT: SD's method works.

    The very best.
isn't it suppose to tell something about your brain the direction you see?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I think so fats.  Something mabye to do with which side of the brain drives your thinking?   She's counter by nature for me, but I can make her change if I try long enough, but it hurts me wittle bwain...

watch just her bottom foot, you can make it look like she's just going back and forth and not spinning completely around at all?

If anyone tries to switch as many times in a minute, you have some serious stones. I got 37.

Dude. Take for example at breaks during a K-State game. When they have like a helmet shuffle deal, I've never lost at that. Ever. (i.e. 4 or so years.) So I guess that helps in being able to watch something.

I absolutely can not see her go clockwise.  When I try to my brain starts to freak out and I have to look away.

Clockwise... everytime all the time. I think that this whole thing is made up and she only goes one way. Everyone who has said they can get her to switch is lying. BTW- If anyone ever wants to go snipe hunting, I know a really good place just south of Wamego (private land).

Found this online explaining how your mind is made up determined by which way you see her spin:

Quote
Counter-Clockwise:  People who see the dancer spin counter-clockwise are usually more logical and intelligent.  Usually more athletic and attractive people will also see her spin counter-clockwise

Clockwise:  Retards and hobos see her spin clockwise

Holy crap.  I thought this was a hoax too and then I focused solely on the shadow of her spinning foot as it popped up from the bottom of the graphic and it just....switched.  Weird.

There's a bit of a trick here... if you see her spinning one way or the other, then that's what you get, you can't see both at the same time.  Basically your eyes/brain has a sampling rate that can change slightly to see one image or the other.  The only way to change is to start sampling the images in the reverse order.  I have no idea how to do that consciously.  It's like watching wheels on a car start to spin "backwards."
