Mine is what I would describe as "hoodie" weather.  55 degrees, overcast skies, calm.  You don't need gloves or a cap, but too cold for "flops."  Perfect for tailgating, walking around campus, or riding your scoot down to the gas station to get some beef jerkey.

I also love really heavy downpours on humid days when the rain is really warm.  Its fun to play outside in this type of rain.

Good thread.

I too like a 50 degree day, very cloudy and a slight breeze out of the north. I mean who doesn't just love that?

I'll stop short of the rain, but agree on the "hoodie" weather...though I refuse to wear hoodies.  October is my favorite month of the year by about 20 car lengths.

QFT. November is a distant second.

Thoughts on snow, used to love it. But now with driving, and coming out of school gets in your shoes. I don't mind it, but certainly don't love it.

Thunderstorms are the crap. I prefer mine 70 degrees, tons of lightening, really loud, and a possibility of tornadoes.

Red sky at morning, sailor take warning.

Red sky at night, sailor delight.

Tornado at noon, lose your roof soon.

I love the smell of peat in the evening.  That smell, you know that earthy smell...  Smells like...whisky !

This but +10 degrees.  I just love to be outside in that weather.  I've never been a fan of too much sun.  Perfect for golf, or outdoor basketball. :alleyoop:

OK, I should clarify.  I won't wear a hoodie with the hood up.  I hate that.  Worst habit of black people, IMO.

fantastic thread. I hate how everyone in the weather media assumes we all **love** sunny and "not a cloud in the sky"

BS. Overcast, b*tches. It's been awhile since the MHK has had that weather though.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Makes sense why you like the Pacific NW so much.  Agreed overcast and cool is best.

Just back from Colorado.

Really liked Tabarnash.  6o's-7o's with the cool air and the warm sun is perfect.  You get the rays, but without the stifling heat of the air.  PERFECT!

Just back from Big Sky Montana.  Freaking awesome weather.  Warm during the day, but never too hot.  Absolutely zero humidity.  Jeans and a sweatshirt at night.  Amazing.

Seattle in July.  Just got back from there recently.  Sunny (in July only), highs mostly in the mid 70's, might top out to low 80's.  Go to the ocean or up into the mountains to get a cool breeze.  Leave your windows open at night kind of weather--and I mean open as in no storm windows because there aren't any skeeters or flies to speak of.

yes! i lived there for like 6 years. weather actually sucks, overcast turns into "crappy"cast when the light rain comes. becomes depressing.
