    warm up the EMAW
Saw him on the way to the library on campus yesterday and I've kept him in my mind for a little turning over the possibilities.  Will he be a Jordy?  No.  There is no way.  But if he has put in time catching balls from the Juggs machine (not Hooters guys  :nono:) then he could be special.  Right now he has the body of the prototype NFL receiver, more so than Q. Morgan.  DOES HE HAVE THE HANDS?  If K-State can throw:

  X                X OOOOO            X                  X
Brown
               Massturd     Cuba/Wilson/Pierce    Murphy

                         X
                      Patton(pleasechristdon'tgetinjured)

Then I think we will be able to distribute the ball assuming:

1)  Massturd blocks/doesn't fumble
2)  Brown turns in to a playmaker/can catch the ball
3)  Cuba turns in to a playmaker/Wilson gets on the field and performs/Pierce improves
4)  Murphy turns in to a legit deep threat.
5)  Pattonpleasechristdon'tgetinjured
6)  Freeman puts up 3500/25-10

Reeeeaaaaddeeeeeey  BREAK!

Patton should platoon with Thomas, presumably.  Then there's heart warming story Valentine... which who knows.

Plus, you didn't included any of the juco WRs.  You have to figure at least one of those guys contributes.

    Fear the Brick
Lamark is a LB.  He would have had and would have a greater impact as a LB for this team.  The LB corp would look entirely better with Hall and Lamark in it.

Also, I'll just add that everyone looks at O Hall and says that he's a monster...he's listed at 6'3" 232lbs on KSU's roster...............f'ing Lamark is listed at 6'3" 229lbs on the same roster.   :flush:

Banks, quarles, snipes. I will expect Lamark to not start.

forget Cuba he's not doing anything this year.  Lamark can be a pretty good but not great receiver IMO.  Maybe he could be better at OLB maybe he can't.  That said at least for right now I think we have some pretty good players at olb; Hall, Moore, Childs, Berard, Felder etc. and I'd just assume leave Lamark at WR where we are searching for playmakers.  If he doesn't do anything at WR this year then we can talk about moving him to defense in the spring.  If you move him to OLB now he wouldn't see the field anyway and it would waste his season just the same.

    Sniff Sniff. . . I smell Heisman.
I think the jailbreaker screen to Lamark could be great.
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956

Hilburn and Quarles get most of the juco reps and PT, is my guess.  Though, Banks is suppose to be a burner.  I can maybe see 2 being decent contributers, but not sure we could hit on more than that.

I really like Lamark. It seems to me that he hustle's, and he's a worker. When you combine that kind of athleticism with that kind of determination, it will pay off at whatever spot he is (Personally, I wanted him at RB, because we've needed a RB that we can give the ball to when we need a yard or two).

No reason to think he can't be a slash that takes snaps at more than one position because of his size/height/power/speed but he needs to get reps and I have enough faith that Prince has an offensive imagination to make that happen.

Agreed. Prince isn't short on the imagination :)
