There's a new sheriff in town.
It's tough to pick just one, but I think I'd have to go with Shawshank Redemption.
Honorable mention:
Miracle
Breakfast Club
Raiders of the Lost Ark

its pretty crazy. it takes a lot of different avenues throughout the film.  def. one that you can watch ten times and notice new aspects every time.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Gump sux. Props on The Bears. Tanner Boyle!!!1!

BTW-worst movie list would include the BNB in Japan. Absolutely dreadful. Even Kelly Leak couldn't save that SOB.

It's your favorite movie.  You just didn't type it correctly.  Maybe this will refresh your memory.

Dr. Strangelove (Peter Sellers and George C. Scott were incredible.   The scene where George C. Scott goes running back towards the "big board" saying, "But Mr. President he'll see the Big Board" and he trips and falls and gets right back up . . . the trip and the fall were not part of the scene, but they went with it.)

Shawshank Redemption:  The final act of "revenge" by the Andy Dufresne on Warden Norton is like a bite of awesome cheesecake.   We'd all love to get that kind of revenge on a truly worthless A-Hole . . . without the sodomy and prison and all that obviously.

What about Bob:  It's not really that great of a movie, but Richard Dreyfus being driven crazy by Bill Murray was quite funny to me.

Full Metal Jacket:  Another kubrick Classic.  R. Lee Ermey was just supposed to advise on the movie, but kubrick was impressed with him, so he cast him as Gunnery Sargent Hartman.  Today... is Christmas! There will be a magic show at zero-nine-thirty! Chaplain Charlie will tell you about how the free world will conquer Communism with the aid of God and a few marines! God has a hard-on for marines because we kill everything we see! He plays His games, we play ours! To show our appreciation for so much power, we keep heaven packed with fresh souls! God was here before the Marine Corps! So you can give your heart to Jesus, but your ass belongs to the Corps! Do you ladies understand?
