Damnit!

Quote
I now have it from three sources close to senior Republicans that they have video dynamite--Michelle Obama railing against "whitey" at Jeremiah Wright's church. ...  Someone took the chance and started reviewing the recordings from services at Jeremiah Wright's United Church of Christ. Holy smoke!! I am told there is a clip that is being held for the fall to drop at the appropriate time. The last thing Barack and Michelle need is a new clip that raises further questions about her judgment and temperament.

Ouch, that's gonna leave a mark.  As goes "whitey", so goes the election.

Good god, man, get a hold of yourself.

The "evil black minister" angle has been played out twice already, and nobody cares.  The only people who are going to care are the anti-black hillbillies who won't vote for him anyway.

This is the "evil racist wife" angle and it has yet to be played at all.  Recall that I'm an Obama supporter.

Yeah, the 10+ threads you've started railing against Obama sure show that support.   :jerkoff:

Who cares about his wife?  As far as I know, nobody will determine their vote for the president based on who's wife loves crackers (food/us)

Yes, who cares about his wife?  Or the fraudulent real estate deals in Chicago?  Or his terrorist-tied land broker / moneyman?  Or the fact that Hamas has endorsed him?  Or the fact that he'll double or more the cost of energy?  Or that he sponsored a bill that would hand a trillion dollars of US wealth to third world thugocracies?  Or that he makes a piker of Neville Chamberlain when it comes to tone-deaf head-in-the-sand thinking about internation issues?  Or any of the rest.  Yes, clearly we should ignore pretty much everything about him and elect him because he's a doper, a minority, and a pretty cool guy.

I can hardly wait until he's in office!   :dancin:  :chirp:

I'm not railing against him, I'm expressing my displeasure at the fact that he's not going to win in the fall.

Precisely.  The sorts of things each is likely to advocate while in office are virtually indistinguishable from those the others would support.  Thus we clearly must elect the candidate on the furthest left in order to wreck the country and burn folks out on these bad ideas.

It will probably surprise you to learn that I'm not a Republican nor do I hate Democrats.  These days I'd be best described as a fiscal conservative, pretty much every other view I hold flows from that perspective.  I might cop to being a small "'l" libertarian (not to be confused with the bat-crap-crazy Libertarian Party) but really I'm more of a classical market liberal than anything.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled young leftist propaganda.

Doubtful, until you can dig up the goods let it be decread that you copied sd (you can pick worse people to get your political direction from) and let's call it a day.

EDIT:  Also, I don't buy your alleged social liberal stance.

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, who was certainly the finest American President following the Civil War era, "There's no limit to what a man can accomplish so long as he is willing to let others have the credit."  So keep patting yourself on the back there Steve, it doesn't matter to me as long as you prove to be marginally more enlightened than the remainder of the leftist hordes here.

EDIT:  Also, I don't buy your alleged social liberal stance.

Feel free to put it to the test: toss out some issues and I'll comment but be forewarned that it's more a matter that I just really don't care about those things.  Honestly if the financial impact of lefty social values is removed the "values" themselves become largely irrelevant.

Well of course not, that would be crazy.

It's the Illuminati and the Bilderbergers, the aliens work for them.  But they all work for the CIA which is really a Jewish cabal run by the Knesset which is itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Saudi royal family.  Of course they all answer to Dick Cheney and Halliburton's board of directors.

The more I think about it, the more disappointed I am that Ron Paul didn't get the nomination.  He had some really crazy ideas and some really great ideas (Fair Tax for one).  We all know that congress doesn't let the really crazy stuff go thru, so it would have weeded out the bad ideas and left the good ones.  What a mistake the Republicans have made.
