I think we already have the room with our without D-Pete don't we?

Losing: C-Mer, Colon, Denis

Bringing in: Tony, Will, ???

The only stickler is if C-Mer goes off Schollie should big Freddy come in this year.

Then your prediction would make sense.

this definitely the plan.  Not sure if it will happen or not, but I have heard from multiple solid sources that this is what the staff is trying to do.

to elaborate on yosh's response, asprilla would have a 'ship offer before williams, whether he could arrive in the 2009 class or the 2010 class.

Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.
when did Mitchell's interest go from 'low' to 'medium' on Rivals.  was it right after his mom decomitted and he cleared up the situation that he is EMAW at heart and his mom is just a hater . .  or is this a recent development?
When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

They changed it after the people at rivals talked to him personally and he said that it was his mom that decommitted him and he still has a strong interest in EMAW.

right, if both D-Pete and Asprilla can come in this year, then C-Mer will move off scholarship and we'll have two to give in 2010 (with 1 being spradling and the other preferably being mitchell)

if D-Pete makes it and Asprilla doesn't (spending a year at a Juco), then C-Mer will stay on scholly and we'll have 3 to give in 2010 (spradling, Asprilla and preferably mitchell)

if things don't look good for D-Pete making it, I think the staff might just cut their losses and offer williams his scholarship.  however, the best thing about D-Pete making it is that it'll give us a second scholly for the 2012 class, so we can potentially get goodman AND someone else.

if mitchell doesn't commit to us, then it's probably between marshall and williams for that scholly.

I am seeing/hearing that it is down to KSU, Georgetown, & ASU (not in any particular order) for Tony Mitchell.  Is anyone else hearing or seeing this or is this just a rumor?

Are you insinuating that he normally carries around marked bills?

If the money is unmarked, how can I be sure that he gets the right message?  I guess that's where the EMAWy clothing comes into play.  Would be best to wear something more distinctly K-State than a DOOM shirt if I'm going to be investing a significant amount of money.

You would think but, in reality, you don't want to show too much EMAWness.  That way, if someone tries to pin it one you, you can simply claim you are a huge fan of the second Indiana Jones movie, the color purple, (not the movie, the actual color) and high school hoops.  That large sum of cash that fell out of your pocket (accidentally) was actually money you planned to donate to some very worth cause later that day.  It's pretty much a fool proof plan.

So...am I the only one who noticed that Justin Young of the National Hoops Report is now listing Tony as the #10 2010 recruit in the nation?  Wow!

10. Tony Mitchell, PF, Miami (Fla.) Miami Center Life Academy

The 6-8 forward used July to springboard himself into the elite discussion. Has NBA size, strength and athleticism. Great natural ability. Very high ceiling for this combo forward.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Effing incredible.  Nobody knew who this guy was 6 months ago, and now he's in the discussion for top-10?  Ridiculous.

it's even more ridic.  justin young actually did see mitchell over the winter - and was the source for the borderline top 150 judgment.

I'm gonna feel sad if Tony doesn't come back. For some reason, I have a little optimism. Am I setting myself up?

surprised that he has extra skin available for wrinkles what with his arms being so sideshow freakishly long and all.

Tony Mitchell just updated his Facebook status:

"Coach B Really Messed Up With My Mom," Tues., Aug. 4th.

Who the hell is Coach B?  Barnes??  Somebody on Georgetown's staff????
