You can't be racist and like basketball.
Didn't his mom decommit him?

yeah, that's just what he'll/we'll say to feel better about ourselves.

You know those guys in Jr. High/High School that don't play football because they say their parents won't let them?  Yeah, their parents would love nothing more than to not have a huge pussy as a son.

been thinking about it a bit.  if mitchell wasn't a huge pussy too, why wouldn't he just pull off his shirt and fight his mother over kstating?  maybe ksu is better off w/o him.

Not to play the race card, but theres something about an angry black woman that would make me not want to fight her either. Kant really blame the guy for that. Personally think hes going to enjoy the 'cruiting process a bit and be back to you guys - like the gf that "knows" youre the one but still wants to have some "fun" before tying the knot? SteveD knows all about it... tell them that story about Mrs. Dave.

That racist crap may fly over on the uk boards, but we don't dig it over here.  Go back to your own board, Adolph.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

tony mitchell observo from an elite sooner poster who saw him at the denton GASO.

Quote
Watched two of his games (along with Frank Martin).

First thing that stood out to me was his length (dude has got to have over a 7 foot wingspan). He runs the floor really well, and has a nice combo of strength and speed. Got most of his buckets off of drives and on putbacks. Showed some good energy on the defensive end (especially during game 2 when the score was close). His jumper from the midrange and from the 3 point line has got to improve. Overall, I liked his game.

• A bevy of offers have come in for former Kansas State commitment Tony Mitchell after his impressive play during the first half of the July evaluation period. Texas, Georgetown, Arizona State, DePaul, Oklahoma State, Maryland and Marquette have all offered the bouncy forward, who will be a four-star prospect in the post summer rankings.

Well, if we get him then we'll have an official big win for Frank sans 'Te.  Correct?  Though this had Kenny and Ray written all over it.

If Texas lands him than the Chisolm Trail Rivalry will really heat up

It would be like Eric Gordon IU Illinois saga.

I was trying to keep it to schools that are somewhat relevant.  so we have WainWRONG and Gary "Washington Post" Williams in the picture now.  BFD

sweet new mitchell update.  sounds like he'd be a cat if his mother would just stay out of the way.   :curse:

I'm going to wait this time," Mitchell said. "I'm going to wait until April. I want to just wait. I rushed into my commitment the first time so now I'm going to talk to my mom and my coaches and just take my time figuring out what school I'm going to go to.

Yep, great news.  Always a delight to see somebody with a skin in the game take over a kid's recruitment.

How often does a guy who decommits from a school re-commit to the same school?  I say never.  Best to just move on imo.

Besides this duder - who else is KSU seriously looking at and has a good chance at landing? Did this guy just screw the '10 class plans up completely or were there other options/plans that frank and hill were after anyways?

I'm certainly not the most knowledgeable recruiting guy, but it looks like we only have 2 open schollies for '10.  We lose Clemente and Colon, and we have Spradling committed and look to be the strong favorite for the Asprilla transfer.  Seems like a Asprilla for Mitchell trade seems fairly even.   :dunno:

If Peterson does not make it this year (which seems probable) we will have 3 slots to fill. Hopefully one of them will be Asprilla this year.

lol, those guys are 4 stars.  2010 recruiting is officially Spradling plus the Buchi Gilberts of the world.

I'm intrigued by this Trops kid.  I mean, Art really seems to think the kid is pretty good :dunno:

(all jokes aside I'm actually intrigued)
