your thoughts on Anderson, Kent and Samuels.  i don't expect anything with recruiting regarding this area of need.

We need one more guy, unless Walker comes back.  This is extremely thin in ability.  That being said, I'm not sure there is anyone good enough left for that need.

for some reason i really like anderson seeing as he's only a freshman and not super talented like Beas and Bill.  further along than luis and bennet were at this point last year and he's already a good rebounder.

Anderson could be a solid 10 and 10 guy.  More likely a 12 and 8 guy but either way he seems like a nice piece to the puzzle.  I don't understand the recent lack of faith in this kid.  He's got great hands like beaz, he just has no moves like beaz.

When you think of Anderson, think ku's Jackson. Anderson gave us much more as a freshman. He needs to get in the weight room this summer and build his upper body. If you notice, he has no definition now.
In two years, Anderson is going to be a stud with Judge playing beside him.

We will be a guard oriented team next year, so what we really need is rebounders and guys that can keep our opponents honest in the post.  Anderson should be serviceable and Colon will have to spot him minutes.  Kent is a fouling machine and I don't expect that to change.  I look at him the same way I looked at Lawrence at MU.  If that's the best we got as a starter, we're in real trouble. Samuals is the great unknown; he's supposed to be a great AAU defender and rebounder, but not skilled on the offensive end.  Let's hope Greenwalt can do his magic and put 25lbs on him while improving his overall athleticism.  I hope we get a JUCO (Montrell) with some nastiness to him.  But I think we get a lot of help the following year.

He's good, but not reliable at this point.  He had one good game.  I expect Samuels at the 4 and Anderson and Kent trading the 5 if Bill leaves.  But Anderson is 6'8'' and I'm just worried about size.  We need a monolith with sense and ability.  But we'll have to hold out a year for Judge.

Anderson = 6'8".  Samuels = 6'9".  Judge = 6'9".  i don't get your argument.

Taller than Blair at Pitt and probably the same height as Hansbrough.  It's going to be about effort, and he's shown a lot in the time he's on the floor.

What I actually heard, was 6-7 but young and hopefully will grow another inch or two.
Hartman had luck that way. Carl Gerlach grew from 6-8  to 6-11 after we signed him, and McC???, a Bird City kid grew a couple of inches to 6-8 after we recruited him. But I'm dating myself.

One thing is known about Jamar, he can dunk really well.

EDIT: Also Hoskins maybe, but probably not.
