Kevin Kietzman, among others, has noticed the same improvement.
Maybe you guys can learn something from Kevin Kietzman and learn to set your purple bias aside every once in a while.
Even Kevin Kietzman has seen the light.
Soooo now Kietzman is the end all be all of sports analysts because you believe he's somehow not biased?
You are just too smart for us. Obivously Kevin is a sporting god. I will personally try to be more like him in every way.
All thanks to you.
I'm just pointing out that not all K-State fans are blinded by their hatred towards ku. If you can't see that Kaun and Jackson have improved and have been key players for a #1-seed Big 12 title team, then I'm not sure what it would take for you to take off the purple-tinted glasses.
Statistical facts show that Jackson's performance has improved, whether you like it or not. My very own eyes can see that Sasha Kaun is a more complete player. Crazy how everyone agrees except for a few dumbass K-State fans. Even Kevin Kietzman has seen the light.
If only we had an unbiased, objective numerical measure of how many points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and FG% Kaun had in his Sophomore year and this year. Then, we could compare them side by side and see when he performed better to see if there was a large jump in per minute performance.
Oh well, until then we will have to rely on eye witness accounts and speculative opinions of biased fans and talk radio hosts.
Yeah, if only people would base their opinions on players solely off of espn.com statistical "analysis," and never actually watch the games... then, and only then, would we really know whether or not a player had improved.
Kaun started his sophomore year, average more minutes, and was surrounded by CJ Giles, Christian Moody, and a freshman Julian Wright. Big difference compared to the talent that Kansas has now. Player improvement isn't just indicated by statistics. Kaun is a better player on the court because he's more experienced and has finally grasped the mental aspect of the game. He's not a trainwreck every time he gets the ball like he used to be. He has developed some nice post moves with the help of Coach Manning. Kaun is a much more complete player at this stage in his career. The picks and the little things he does within the offense usually go unnoticed by spectators with low BBIQ.
Kansas has so much balance with guys like Chalmers, Rush, Arthur, Jackson, Collins, and Robinson that it's unreasonable to base Kaun or anyone else's improvement as a basketball player soley on stats. If you want to act like a hard ass and pretend that Kaun and Jackson haven't improved during their years here at Kansas, then go ahead. Be my guest.
