I can't wait for this starting lineup for the Kansas Jayhawks:

G - Sherron Collins
G - Tyrel Reed
G/F - Travis Releford
F - #1 Morris twin
C - Cole Aldrich

Bench: #2 Morris twin, Mario "Blake Young" Little, a bunch of white retards.

   That's going to be hilarious.

BTW, i don't really care if this will be the exact starting lineup or not.  The point is you're going to kind of suck.

ku fan here.

First, I think Chalmers is coming back, so that would move Releford to the bench.  But, in any event, there's certainly going to be a heck of a drop off next year.  Now, whether we suck depends on what you mean by suck.  If you mean, bottom half of the conference and missing the tourney, I think that's wrong.

Meanwhile, in the present, ku is much better than the Wildcats in both.

It seems like you care more than you should.

Aqib f-ing Talib. Where did that guy come from?

Somehow travelled from your nightmares to assume a tangible human form...all Elm Street style?

So that's why Jordy ran away from him so fast...

The lineup could very well look like this also:

PG - Collins
SG - Chalmers
SF - Little
PF - Arthur
C - Aldrich

Bench: Appleton, Morris twins, Q. Thomas, Reed, Releford

Arthur is likely to go pro, but it's no guarantee.  Chalmers could go test the NBA waters, but I'm not sure he'd be a guaranteed 1st round pick.  If he comes back next year Kansas will be one of the favorites again to win the Big 12.

Those in glass houses....

 :ksu:

Kind of, but we'll improve at that at 1-3 (4 if Walker/Hoskins are avail) versus sucking at 2-5.

Watched Mario Little on Tuesday night at the NJCAA tourney against Seward County.  Very lazy and very overrated.

Just a moronic statement.  Darnell Jackson was arguably the most improved player in the Big 12 this season.

LOL.  Is he that much better this year, or is it that he plays way more minutes than he ever had in the past?  He played 15 minutes last year, averaged 6 points, 5 boards per game.  This year he plays 25 minutes per game and averages 11.5 points and 6.5 boards.

Going by the numbers, had D-Jack played 25 minutes last year he would have averaged 8.5 points and 7 boards per game.  This shows us that while his scoring has increased very slightly from last year, his rebounding numbers have actually been worse per minutes played.  And oh yeah, despite the drastic increase in minutes his average blocks per game have actually decreased from last year.

Extremely LBBIQ "most improved player" statement from Peter.

Sure, he's improved.  But "most improved player in the Big XII" is just sillyness.

Nice rebuttal BTW.

I will admit that Jackson was a better player this year than last.  But, by that rational, wasn't the vast majority of returning college basketball players better this year than last?  Self continues to stunt the growth of his NBA caliber players, why else would Collins/Chalmers/Arthur even considering returning next season?  Because they have all somehow downgraded their NBA stock the since minute they announced their intention to attend the Universiy of Kansas.  At least at KSU our one and dones are still good enough to be one and dones after they have played for us.

Nate on 810 was saying this morning that Sherron bumped his knee again yesterday. I guess Sherron is not healthy. I'll have to see what the Phog says.

Injuries happen.  Sherron will still play, but he won't be 100%.  Not sure why that's so difficult for K-State fans to comprehend.

The "early exit" talking point is so retarded.  Kansas has the 5th-most tournament wins and final fours all-time.  Only FOUR teams have done better in the tournament, and K-State sure as hell isn't one of them.

The talking point that "Self doesn't develop players" is another myth that K-State fans have perpetuated.  Kevin Kietzman was just talking yesterday about the improvement of Kaun and Jackson, specifically, and how they were the key to Kansas' success this season.  That's why I like Kietzman... even as a K-State fan he can see things for what they are.  I don't hear people bagging on Roy Williams for developing players, yet Hansbrough/Ellington/Green/Lawson all had NBA potential coming into UNC.

None of that has anything to do with the early exits that ku fans have experienced the last few years.

It's easy to develop crapty players.  It's called 80/20.  Look it up.

NBA guys are more difficult, so don't take the fact that Self indeed cannot develop NBA potential as a punch to the groin.  Not a whole lot of coaches can.

80/20 has nothing to do with developing players.  You have extremely low BBIQ.  Probably one of those guys that just watches the game so he can have an excuse to get drunk.

Sasha Kaun averaged more points, rebounds, and steals his sophomore year than he did his junior or senior years in roughly the same amount of minutes per game.  Statistically speaking, he has gotten worse since his sophomore year.  What are you basing his improvement on?  Intangibles?  Leadership?  I just don't get it.

Jeebus you're dumb.  I don't drink, and you have no understanding of human nature.  Probably one of those chubby guys who's never coached any sport in his life.

Kaun's/Jackson's improvement was the key?  I thought a healthy Sherron Collins was the key?

...and that's why you have extremely low BBIQ and/or don't watch enough Kansas basketball games.  You're one of those guys that goes to espn.com and looks up stats.
