i just got a ticket today for 40 bucks from some idiot at uk. pretty good deal if u ask me! i told the guy im from lawrence tho...he's gonna be so pissed when he sees the purple shirt under my coat when he gives me the ticket on friday. haha!
come to think of it...maybe i should cover it up...i DO want the ticket after all. i got it: AFTER he gives me the ticket, i'll unzip the coat and unveil the beauty of purple. then give him the bird

My hope is that you have a ku student ID. They have started cracking down and if you don't have your ID (one that looks just like you and that is active) you will not be getting in with a student ticket.
It's kind of funny really. Imagine driving all the way to Lawrence, spending $40 on a ticket, not being able to get in, having to go to a Lawrence bar to watch it, leaving with a tear in your eye, and making a miserable drive back to a miserable town. Awesome.
