There hasn't been a good superbowl since titans vs. rams.  It tends to suck.  I like 1st and second round NCAA and jan 1 and 2 bowl games.

I still want my cooler, bitches!

football.  the whole thing is a mystery.  not worth trying to figure out, imo.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

QFT.

I think the first 2 rounds of the Big Dance are the best 4 days in sports.

The Final 4 is equivalent to the Super Bowl. Both tend to suck.

csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956

the first 4 days are by far the best.  the sweet sixteen weekend is nice, but nowhere near as fun.

Dumb thread.  What are the most popular movies of all time?  Music?  How good are they?  That being said, football is the best sport.  I wish it wasn't so popular.

The Super Bowl sucks because it's completely over-hyped and has too many commercials and breaks.  Regular Season NFL football is far more entertaining because it's basically about the game and not about Britney Spears trying to hawk Pepsi.  The Declaration of Independence?  WTF?  I have no idea what that has to do with football.  It's just filler for Fox (who has the worst game presentation and announcers of any network.)

Oh by the way, the 4th quarter of this game was fairly entertaining.  I'm glad the Giants won because the Patriots were the worst undefeated team since the 2003 Oklahoma Sooners.

NFL is most popular.  Not even close.  MLB might actually now be fourth behind NASCAR.  NBA season is way too long.  Otherwise, very awesome.

super bowl was pretty awesome.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Now go back to this sloppy Super Bowl after three quarters. Imagine turning the channel. Reading a book. Going to bed.

Think of what you would have missed.

MLB has highest attend, because of so many games.  Hence, pop.

If one person goes to a kstate football game in 1990 and kstate's season goes on for 150 games, does it make it more popular?

Popularity to me means you don't count the same person twice.  It is the total amount of people who like the sport that makes it popular.

College Football is the country's most attended sport, therefore most popular and best (and craptiest at the same time due to the bowl system.)

    shame on you, non-believers
Re: The Declaration of Indy thing...I thought that was going to be the Patriots' intro vid, and I was like, What are they going to do for a 10-minute-long intro with a "giant" theme to it?

Then I realized it really was just a reading of the DoI, and an inquisitive "wtf" formed in my head.
