I don't remember him playing at all.  Did I miss the few minutes he got, or did he not play?  I am surprised that he didn't see more minutes, especially since he's been playing well lately.

I don't think Frank Martin was comfortable sending him out there in such a tightly contested game.

I think it's because we really only use him when we need an outside shooter, and we didn't need one tonight because Stew and Pullen were hitting them.

Coincidentally, the 35 seconds that Kent and Colon were patrolling the baseline scared the hell out of me.

Screw you, I had forgotten that horrific site until now.  I might end up having nightmares of that.

Actually, DK played fairly well, I thought.  Took a BIG charge late in the game, tipped a big board to Beasley, and wasn't a liability in any other ways.

Wasn't that Pullen who took the late charge, while Darren tried to take a charge on OU's next time down the court and was called for the block(though I thought he had position.)

It was Pullen that took the huge charge for the man so nice they named him twice.

It just seems like DK takes charges because he ends up on his ass every time he commits a foul.

One last DK comment...why does he continue to take the three 5 seconds into the shot clock?  DK, there is a reason you are not closely guarded out there. :chainsaw:

    MOVE !!
Kent tipped the ball to Sutton.

Luis had a huge steal.

I saw that, and immediately went to the shelter room, in case the sky might, in fact, be falling

Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.

If Kent shoots one more shot more than five feet from the basket someone should break his fingers.

Yes that is what I was thinking. I doubt it is serious, but it probably needs a couple days rest.

and Fred Brown releases the ball sooo low that he shot will get block against quality competition. just imo

Kent tipped the ball to Sutton.

So what you're saying is that two out of three things that I claimed in my post were wrong?  I'm gonna have to reconsider posting.  Kent should have drawn a charge on that play, so at least I can claim that I saw DK draw a charge that wasn't called correctly.  Regardless, not a bad night from DK.

He appeared to suffer a hand injury late in Monday's win over Savannah State.

I thought he tipped it to Beasley
... IIRC, which could be a problem after last night.
EDIT: It was Sutton, although I was right about not remembering too much from last night.

Sadly, the only person more surprised than me when Colon Blows does something right is Colon Blow himself.  I love how he just shuts down for about three seconds while his brain tries to process exactly what the hell just happened.  It's like he's even too stunned to do his patented "thunder double-dribble."

Yes Sutton does shoot the ball low, but as -- and I have to give him credit for pointing out -- Stan noted, that's parly negated by his extremely quick release. That near 360 pivot 3-pointer he had against Sav. St. is going to be hard for anyone to defend.

When asked about Fred ACBU and ACDH said it was related to practice and not to read too much into it, he just didn't compete for PT that week.  This was on the Call in radio show.  Frank was recruiting out of state.  Any leads?  Also Wyatt thought we'd win this Saturday and that it'd be close (off air.)
