ALAMO!!!! The worst of the good bowls or the best of the crappy bowls?  Either way I would be happy.

Regarding ku: I honestly don't think the Cotton will take them because of their bad reputation for travel.  Probably because of its high guaranteed pay-out, the Cotton Bowl seems to care more about asses in the seats from the Big 12 representative than some other bowls.  (This is part of the reason why Colorado has only been once.)  I think ku is pretty much a lock for the Holiday Bowl at this point.

Wiscy or Illinois. Neither are good matchups for KSU.
Wiscy has gigantic RB, Illinois has fast black qb.

On a side note, Rose Bowl Oregon vs WVU    That would be an awesome game to watch.

Would the Gator take ku?  If they don't take a Big 12 team they have to take a Big 12 team the next two years.  You would think that would almost force them to take one this year.  Sun Bowl sucks and I would rather go to the Alamo Bowl.  Gator>>>>>>Sun.  Why do these two trade off?

Not like KSU does. Few fan bases do.

Outside of KC, Dallas is the largest concentration of ku alumni in the nation.

I've always hated Dallas, but didn't know why...until now.

I would suspect ku would put about 40-50,000 in the Cotton Bowl, they took a good 25,000 to that bowl game in Ft. Worth a couple of years ago.

I don't give a crap where ku goes.

If Kstate takes care of business like they should this upcoming month we should be eligible for the Alamo. It's the most enticing in terms of being able to travel to it. The Holiday has more prestige...but, anything but the Sun Bowl. Heard it's a real hole from the fans on tigerboard.

Texas Bowl matchup with USF? Only if we lose a few more imho and finish with seven wins.

    The very best.
I would give my left arm for an Alamo bowl bid.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Ok, that is like the fifth different city that I have been told that about.  I thought it was Chicago?  Can we get a link for this?  But you would think that ku fans would travel to Dallas, it's not like it's far and the airfare from KC to DFW is retarded cheap.  (Guess maybe not around the holidays, though.)

We'll get a Fiesta Bowl bid once we win the Big 12 Championship and laugh at all the ku fans who thought they were going to a BCS bowl.

If by some miracle ku manages to get to the Big 12 Champ Game, then we'll be in the Holiday.

Because the Sun took a Big 12 team last year, the Gator figures to grab one this time, and its place in the batting order depends on whether the Big 12 sends one or two teams to the BCS.

So if the Cats end up in a typically non Big XII bowl it would most likely be the Gator and not the Sun.

Gator vs. Virginia Tech or South Florida? I like it!

Oh how times change - our first invite to the Alamo Bowl we were disgusted because we were that good, now that we are the epitomy of mediocre - we relish in that little corner of heaven in San Anton that we call the Alamo Bowl! I would LOVE to go there! Beats the HELL out of Huntington, WV.

We weren't two plays away from a National Championship this season. Actually we're 3 drives away from being unbeaten but at least this feels different.

I heard it was San Diego.  Also, I wonder how many fans would really go.  They have a bball game against Yale on the 29th of December.  Could be cutting it close.

I'm sure the bench has a great view to the field. Freeman is tall enough, Evridge would be able to see him.

I would LOVE for QBJF to look over and wink/point/thumb his nose etc at Alan Everage - but all that might be below him.

I would be ecstatic about the Alamo. Plus we can "try" to erase another memory.
