Why do KSU fans want to run down Texas and Kansas?

Personally, I like to think that KSU's only home loss was to a top 10 team, and that they beat a legit top 15 team on the road.  Am I alone?

???

1) Texas is our bitch.  No need to give them any respect.  You think Snoop Dogg buys his bitches flowers?  Hell no.
2) I hate ku.  We should have won that game, and then the ku fans could be saying: "well our only loss is to a legitimate top 15 team."  If we had lost to OU you would see more respect and we would root them on to win out.  But never ku.

It's the "overrated chant" syndrome; it's extremely stupid and contrary to a fan's best interests, but that doesn't stop thousands of dumbf*cks doing it every weekend.

I guess the desire to scoff at one's rivals outweighs the desire for positive recognition of one's own team, for some.

The only thing worse than running down the teams that you've played already is sucking up to them.

ETT and possible future Powertard quiz question.

+ making fun of any team that is 8-0 just looks dumb.

The only thing worse than running down the teams that you've played already is sucking up to them.

I like our bitches to be in the top 10.  Snoop doesn't deal with ugly bitches.

Calling them "frauds" and "rooting for them" are two different things.

I mean, the overrated chant makes sense compared to the nonsense KSU fans create.

ku is not very good.  Why can't you understand that?   Have you watched them?

Go ahead and spin it in whatever way makes you feel better about KSU's team, but facts are facts.  They are not one of the 10 best teams in the nation.  Not even close.

They're 8-0.  They're 3-0 on the road on the in the Big 12.  Saying they "aren't very good" is spin.  Pointing to their record as evidence that they're good is dealing with facts.

Kansas is pretty good.

Texas is pretty lousy.

Doesn't matter what I want, that's the way it is.

I was unclear.  Kansas is good.  They are not "very good" (as in elite or Top 10).

ku is good, UT and KSU are average.  If our defense played like ku's, we'd be undefeated too.

No one outside of the top 5 is "elite" or "top 10 good" this year.

Because most people cant handle the fact that we owned them for so many years and are a little better than us right now.  Its jealousy/dumbfounded that ku is actually good at football.  Its not normal so its considered "against the grain" so people think its weird.

on the texas thing.  who cares, we own them.

Seriously though, why not run down Texas?

They've beaten one team with a winning record. (UCF)

They've been blown out at home by a team that's probably just a little above average. (us)

They've been in several close games with pretty lousy teams.

They're just not very good.

They've won every game they're supposed to.  Who's ranked behind them that shouldn't be?

That and their fans are really annoying. :kugayfight:

41-21

Who's ranked behind them that shouldn't be?

Florida, Alabama, USF..........................................................KSU.

I'd even put OSU (despite Troy and UGA) and CU (despite FSU) right there with them.

USF?

The USF that lost to 5-4 Rutgers and UConn?

3 loss Florida, who lost at home to Auburn?

I can sort of see Bama, but still, lols.  You're reaching.  You just hate texas because you're down there.

I hope TX wins out.  I see your logic but I don't hope the same for ku.

SEC bias. The SEC is good...but not THAT good. UT would beat 'bama, and keep it close with UF

UT is average, in the Big 12. Rank the Big 12 and put them into  fourths.  ku's in the top 3 in the conference, ut..not so much.

1st Tier
OU, MU, ku

2nd Tier
OSU,KSU, UT

3rd Tier
CU, TT, A&M

4th Tier
NU, ISU, BU

SEC teams would beat Big XII teams if all the teams from each conference were matched up against each other.  And its not just the SEC.  The Big XII is sorry.  All of its teams should be run down.  There are much better ways of deluding yourselves into thinking that we are better than we really are.

Texas hasn't beaten a single team on this list:

http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/polls/bcs

They've been in games in the final minutes with three teams not on that list (UCF, NU, and Arkansas St!!!), plus down by 10 at half to another very bad team (tcu).

They haven't beaten anyone near as good as that 5-4 Rutgers team, and I'd rank Auburn easily above Texas too.

Their 0.0 score from the BCS computer rankings back me up as far as them being overrated, and those don't even take into account margin of victory.

Based on what?  Domination of ISU?  Being in tight games with NU, CFU, Arkansas St?

I give ku all the respect a 3-0 team deserves.  They are Top 25.  They have beaten three decent teams on the road (by 6, 5, and 8 points).  Their 101st-rated schedule makes it hard for me to believe they deserve more respect than that.

ku is like a grinder in golf.  They can only hit their drives about 230 yards but their short game is very solid and they make par after par after par.  Nothing special.  Nothing spectacular.  They play to their ability.  They don't beat people, but they don't give anything away with mistakes.  They use excellent course management and they are extremely well coached.

I salute thier accomplishments, but Corey Pavin will never win a major unless he faces a choker like Greg Norman.
