When our O-line improves will this even be an issue? No, because we will have a consistent run game w/ running backs that will keep the pressure off using all types of runs (reads, draws, dives, stretch, etc.). Also, a consistent run game will open up play-action, screens and trickery.
Look at how the O-line has improved from last season to this season. They are by no means great, but they have improved. I would consider them consistently serviceable and at times they are good. I think it's pretty safe to assume that the O-line will be much better next year.
Also, should JF have to scramble he will the potential to obliterate any defender who is not a D-lineman. JF @ 260# > DB or LB for collision purposes. Anyone care to guess what the coefficient of restitution is between JF and a defender?
