Bad Bad loss. We are the better team.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Easily Freeman's best game in his career.

This is a good football team. Just as in every game, stupid mental errors cost them dearly. Freeman was amazing.

Two fumbles in the red zone by tight ends did us in.

Tibs should be fired.  Seriously.  Forget the fumbles, he does not know how to call a game worth a sh*t.  That's 2 games (ku and OSU) where we lined up in punt block on 3rd and long and got owned practically the entire game.  F tibs and his weird eye.

0-3 in close games now. Unreal. All the defense fault.

TE fumbles + Ced Wilson not getting away from a shanked punt + replacing the defense with a sieve = bad loss.

Agree.

Take away the FP fumbles and this is a 20 point victory.

A fumble didn't allow OSU to run all over our ass....a fumble hasn't allowed ku, CU, and OSU to run all over our ass.  A fumble didn't allow our DC to line up like we were trying to block a field goal on all of our 3rd and longs.

No.  Total team defeat.  Offensive fumbles, giving up big returns, and poor defense.

But mostly the defense.

Seriously, when Wyatt said "1:10 left on the clock" before the kick, I knew we would lose.  That's bad.

Alternate titles for this thread could be:

"High definition provides better image"

"Fire trucks are red"

"Taliban may be threat to peace"

Personally, I thought it was a great loss. I would have been disappointed in anything less.

Tough one to lose for sure.  It's kind of amazing that we can put up numbers on O like we do given that our OLine doesn't run block that well.

But that defense...... just aggravating.

defense lost this game, not fumbles.  fumbles didn't help but we could not stop them.

But the thing is, they couldn't stop us either.  With the way Josh was throwing the ball, the two TE fumbles and the kicked punt by Wilson on the OSU 40 would have netted 13-17 points easily.  If OSU does that, we win easily.

Turnovers are always a story in RP's losses.

Would you rather it have been the tiebreaker with either Nebraska or Missouri?

Srsly?

KSU is now effectively 3 games back of ku with 4 to play.  Unless Carlos Beltran and David Wright start lining up in Lawrence, that pretty much sums up KSU's chances.  Big XII South losses still count towards the Big XII.

QFT, ku may win out. Doubtful, but possible with what they have left. I don't see them losing more than 2 at the very most.

ku isn't going to lose a game, not even to OSU in the regular season.  They might lose to MU, but I think their defense is better than MU's.  And if they make it to the B12CG they'll face either OU or OSU...and they probably would've already beaten OSU and OU isn't that great at all.  If ku is ever going to do it, it's this year.

No, I didn't say that.  I said I think their defense is better than MU's.  But whatever you say skip.

I think ku will lose to Mizzou and has a chance of losing to OSU or Texas A&M. They have obviously surprised me (and everyone else) but honestly, outside of their fans running to our boards and pounding their chests.. I really don't care how well they do.
