    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    Sniff Sniff. . . I smell Heisman.
I said we had the best D-Line and LB's (front 7) in the Big 12, in my KSU vs. UT positional comparison. But I accidentally close the tab that I was posting in.
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956

I'm going to assume that is sarcasm considering Auburn did lose to Mississippi State at home.

Nope. That was an utter fluke.

I am ready to buy into the D's resurgence, but the O-line top 5?  Let's wait until after the next two weeks before we make any non-smack, serious proclamations.

I think our D has a legit shot at finishing in top 10 in terms of sacks and TFL.

Interesting stat:

We lead the nation (bad) in first downs surrendered by penalty (15).  We lead the nation (good) in fewest first downs by rushing (9).  Our total first downs surrendered per game is 17 (26th in nation).

If we cut down on the penalties (particularly personal fouls and 3rd down/4th down bailouts) our defense could be one of the best in the country.  I'm saying Top 5.

Certainly Auburns defense is very good.  Both K-State sacks were in that game.  Their offensive line...not so much.

    Ready for Maize girls!
we would be number 2 in the nation in sacks if it wasn't for those stats being skewed by the fact that penn state and michigan state have both played "our lady".

the fact that ku isn't at the top of every one of those after playing that weak ass schedule is telling.

their tackles for losses are up there...but the sacks would be higher you would think.

Scoring O and Scoring D are both top 5.  Major LOL.

If anything it tells me just how pathetic their competition has been.
