WHEW. Thank God Pete called off the dogs. I really thought our record asskicking of Nubb@Nubb was in danger.But does it really count anymore since SC could have broken it easily but chose not to?

It is tough to keep watching your defense consistently give up 10+ yard runs. Actually, it is rediculous to watch that.

50+ players we wanted went to USC....and only 2 they recruited came here
it was getting cold and it was getting late
this is the FIRST time I have stopped watching a Husker game in the 3rd qtr. Literally stopped watching it.
Those who did stay got to see a fairly gritty performance against USC's second team
I was disappointed in the student sections. They emptied earlier than most sections, except the oldsters in the west stadium. I was also very, very disappointed in the booing from the students. Some were booing early in the first quarter, every time something didn't go perfectly right.
Why should the fans have stayed? The Team wasn't there either.
I was there last night and K State 2003--K State 2003 was MUCH worse.
Wake doesn't have a run game either until they played us.
I was at the 70-10 Texas Tech game and I stayed every second of that game.
The Greatest Fans in College Football deserved better Saturday night.

They had traffic to beat...in the middle of the 3rd quarter.
However, last night the straw broke the camel's back. It was a four-year culmination of hearing how great recruiting was going...how great "such and such" player looked in spring ball....how we have a true offensive genius as head coach....how all of our coaches prepare players to the fullest and for an NFL career...how the football program has never been better, etc. Instead of seeing us look like we belong with USC, we crawled to a 10-7 lead before rolling over to the tune of five unanswered touchdowns...all the while making no adjustments as USC ran like the wind and found the key to slowing down our offense. Fans have heard enough spin, BS, and propaganda. "Put up or shut up" time arrived in the form of a beatdown from USC.
The stadium is empty!
I stayed until the end. And what fans were left, did applaud the better team, USC. The USC fans were actually very cool people. We drank with a few of them downtown. But I guess when you win, it's easier to be nice.
