I leave tonight and have 3 days of golf lined up before Saturday.

Just goes to show that good deeds payoff sooner or later.  My family adopted a family 20 years ago that lived in KC.  Dad and mom were hospitalized from a car accident and the kids needed a place to stay.  They lived with us for 4 months.  Now the parents are retired and their kids have a large amount of property throughout Alabama and have a very comfortable life.  They have a nice Alabama golf vacation planned for us.  My son and I can't wait.

Anyone plan on doing some golfing?

I think I'm going to watch it at 810 Sportszone on the Plaza.  Any KC PAK'rs got anything else cooking?
More than likely I will be punching walls and stabbing midgets.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I'm so jealous of yall!
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

We are playing Grand National, Auburn's school course, and they had a few irons in the fire for the last one regarding some private places.

You will like Grand National no matter which of the two 18's you play out there. I've heard the University Club(that's where the Golf team plays) is nice but i've never been able to get on out there. If you can't get on at one of the other private clubs you might want to try Auburn Links I like it a lot as well. Hope you have a good trip.

I have flown A LOT.  Not as much recently which is probably why I know NOTHING about Airtran. ???  Hopefully, this is a step above ValuJet.

Any insight to an Airtran experience?  HA HA!!

Airtran is the airline that wants to buy Midwest...the reason behind the 'Save the Cookie' campaign.  Their hub is ATL.  I don't know if it is standard but every Airtran flight I have been on has free XM radio.  other than that, average airline.

Grand National is a great place. They have 2 18 hole courses with another 18 hole par 3 course. Either you play there is very nice. That is one of my favorite places to play on the RTJ trail. Also, if you guys want to play another good course, take a short drive down to Montgomery and play Capital Hill. I am not sure what shape the course is, I haven't played it in a long time, but the layout of all 3 courses over there is nice. They have 2 traditional RTJ style courses and then they have a "links" style course which is a lot of target golf. I personally don't like the links style but different strokes and stuff...

Have fun!!!

ATL has a lot to offer but it is pricey to go out there.  Buckhead is a 'happening' area that you'll find something to do.
