In honor of the 30-3 Rangers vs. Orioles game last night

16. The Royals beat the Cardinals 11-0 in Game 7 of the 1985 World Series. Bret Saberhagen tosses the 5-hit shutout.

What are some of your favorite K-State sports beatdowns (positive or negative) in history?

Me against Mike Tyson in punchout the eleventy-billionth time I tried to fight him.  Finally learned the key is to wait out his early barage.  I was kind of a big deal in my grade school fwiw.

McGill and Davis beating that guy up and taking his money

That about sums it up.

EDIT:  And Tetuan gettin gthe s**t kicked out of himself and everyone feeling sorry for him and following it up some time later by hitting a guy in Aggieville and getting arrested...what a horrible football player that guy was.

11/20/99 - One of the funnest games I attended during my college years.  66-0 beatdown of Missouri.  They deserved that after daring to keep it close during the '98 game.

 :hookem:

Also, we must mention the 73-7 beatdown of Northern Illinois in '98 when we needed Gramatica to hit that 65-yarder.  Set the NCAA record for longest FG without a tee.

 :woohoo:
