    Sniff Sniff. . . I smell Heisman.
I was wondering if anybody had this game for the PS2. I want to get it, but I don't know if it will be worth it. (not having next-gen feat. and all)

Opinions????
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956

    It's time to hit it.
Got it.  And I guess it was worth it since it was free.  (dl'd it).  but can't say it's different enough that I would have bought it.

Spend the $5 and rent it from Blockbuster.  You'll know by the end of the week whether or not its worth buying.

I bought it first day.  I think I have played it about 6 times since mid July, although some of that is that I have a lot of other things going on...but I stopped playing for a week because I wanted the rosters...then I started my dynasty over and it hasn't been the that need to play since.

the spring practice drills are probably more annoying than anything.  I also don't like the fact that you can't tell how much interest the recruits have in your team prior to the season starting...I always end up giving away points to retards that I can't get on my roster.

As far as in-game play goes, very little has changed from last year.  All the small things have changed though; recruiting, training, etc.  New features added and some stuff just tweeked.  If you just like the actual games then no need to upgrade, if you enjoy the small things; mini-games; playing dynasties... and you have $50 to throw around go for it.

Just wanted to check.. you can't add new recruit targets during the season right?  Just the however many you select at the start?  I ended up with 5 the first year, better than on the PSP when I only got one while winning the NC.

right you can only go after targets before the season starts...they give 15 targets, but if you are smart, you go after 8 targets and give them ~12 points off the get go to swing them in your favor....but that only works if you are a top 25 team and 5 stars.  You still need to pick up several mid tier players in preseason because starting out we aren't getting any respect (go figure).

No kidding;  I went undefeated the entire season beating everyone easily and watched a 1 loss and a 2 loss team fight it out for the NC.  I ended the season ranked 6th after I won the Fiesta bowl by 3 TD's

FWIW, I also lost Alesana, Freeman, Johnson, Watts, and Cedric Wilson for the entire season before conferance play even started.

I'm in the same spot.  One of 4 undefeated teams heading into the big 12 title game and i'm only 18th in the nation.  I have 2 of the 5 heisman cadidates (cedric wilson and james johnson).  number one offense and defense and still  no respect.

change the schedual to all top 10 teams in the out of conference schedual, it will help you get to the nc game, atleast it did in all the other versions
