all day?  fwiw the game doesn't even start until 7:45 asslips.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

good point.  there's no way our defense can keep up with this high powered offensive juggernaut.

LOL at Auburn offense.  Nubb gives up 391 per game in Big 12 and Auburn goes for a cool 178...and now have 4 new starters on the OL.

Of course this means they just ass pound us by 10-17 points and show mercy.  But we'll tag Cox for a few!!

Back on the football conversation.

Lee Ziemba is going to be no pushover. He looks to be a great lineman and is proving himself in practice.

thanks for the update...we know about Lee as KSU recruited him.  But...true freshman.  Congrats on his future, however.

Honestly it won't matter if we can't score and stop the run, which are the two things that I'm worried about.*

Great! Finally we have some meaningful conversation, not just "You racist rednecks!"

back on topic..

i have a scout.com "inside the auburn tigers subscription" and it said that Lee is beginning to be able to hold his block against our Quentin Groves who i am sure you have heard of. Certainly he cant do it every time, but it will come with experience. If Lee can block Groves then i dont see why he couldnt block anybody?

Dont yall have a very solid DE too? I heard some praise for him...wanna fill me in?

Groves should have been gone to the draft last year but he had to come back because the NFL told him, "you suck against the run".

Great pass rusher, particularly a speed rusher, great quickness on plays bouncing to the outside...but I watched him getting physically owned in the running game or when in pass blocking the tackles gets their mitts on him in watching the So. Carolina, LSU, and Florida games.

Not surprised Ziemba does okay...Groves is really a OLB playing DE.  But Ziemba will be a great one in the future.

Yeah, Ian Campbell, although with the switch to a 3-4 this year he is going to alternate between DE and OLB.

At a place like Auburn its probably because he is pretty damned good and not because they dont have anyone else.

You might need to take a deep breath and realize that everything does not have to be taken seriously.  If you look at it realistically(which you seem to not do much so you should try it) you will see, they are in one of the best conferences, they are always pretty darned good.  I am not saying we dont have a chance because we do.  They never play well in their openers, but you can say the same thing about us.... ALA Illinois state.

Auburn is good.  Of course they have weekness'.  But just because he is a freshman doesnt mean he will suck.  He might struggle he might not we will just have to wait and see.  I just dont see why you have to throw a 18 year old kid under the bus because he is on the other team.

Absolutely right on. Auburn has built their team on speed, speed, and oh yeah, how about some more speed. That is why I have said earlier on the board before, the way to beat Auburn is run straight at them. FYI though, one of only 2 true freshman that have EVER started on the line for Coach Nall, our o-line coach, got drafted in the first round 2 years ago...Marcus McNeil, and started at tackle as a rookie last year for the San Diego Chargers. I am not saying that Lee can be that good, but if he is able to pull off starting as a true freshman, he will be in good company.
