Nicely put KT, but I'm not sure that they'll realize that.
I'm all for smack talk and spreading some pre-season mental torment to fans of upcoming opponents, but I'd like to think that K-State fans can keep it focused on the school, the coaches, and the players. There's enough stuff in those three areas to create an effective hazing environment and not have the purple fan-based be seen as naive, underschooled, disrepectful idiots with no appreciation for the struggles of a people or race.
It's clear to me that most of this type of smack is coming from the youth of the purple nation. I would hope that they could take some time to remember that our football program, too, was oppressed. LSnyder talked about as slow as Lincoln; if he had a beard, the only thing that would differentiate the two would have been the powercat emblem on the stove pipe hat.
