At A-Rods current pace, he will shatter the record.  I hope he doesn't, I dislike him quite a bit more than Barry Bonds.

We don't.  But we do know there has been rampant cheating in baseball for..well, forever. 

When it's all said and done Barry has the record, and whatever people say about an asterisk (HAR HAR HAR) means nothing.

Oh.....I have a feeling we're going to be forced to hear about it for quite awhile. I have to admit that I was more into this then I wanted to be. My feeling is that the entire game is corrupt so why should we take it out on one corrupt player.

It's an accomplishment in itself, steroids or not.

Congrats to Barry, and thank god he just hit the damned thing & hopefully there's no more discussion about the HR record and Barry can just play his game.

I'm not a Barry fan, but I'm not a Barry hater either....

Regardless of how the record will be looked at in the future, you have to
admit, the guy is a great hitter, and will more than likely end up
with more than 30 homers this year at the age of 43. That isn't
something you see very often. Even Hank Aaron only hit 12 homers
at age 41 and 10 homers at age 42.

There's no doubt that Ruth remains the best home run hitter in history. 

As much as I like Poz, his argument trying to equate the fact that Bonds used steroids with the fact that Ruth didn't have to play in an integrated major leagues like Aaron and Bonds did has a HUGE logical hole, which should be obvious to anyone who gives it about 15 seconds' thought.
