I'm confused by this post?  Billy Callahan?  You are doing your best to chase him off but fortunately for the rest of the Big 12 he stays.  Why does your AD not listen to the fans and fire him?  Solich was much better according to me and the Corn fans.

CU Fans - Common criminals.  They didn't start out this way, but the constant beatings from the over-bearing, self-righteous Huskers left them feeling that the world is completely unfair.  Their only success came from the few years after McCartney solidified his recruiting ties to the inner city gangs in L.A.  This led them to embrace MCMW.  They throw bags of piss and they beat opposing fans and police sometimes have to clear the stadium during games or use tear gas to clear the field after games.  The Sal incident only served as an excuse to pillage and loot on a grander scale.

You forgot Dave Matthews listening, hackey-sack playing, brand new Wranger driving, trust fund hippies. HTH. Oh and cocaine.

Yeah, that whole changing coaches and completely overhauling our offensive and defensive systems didn't have anything to do with our W-L records those years.

If you're so high on K-State though, feel free to put your money where your mouth is. I'll bet you a college football jersey of your choice that Nebraska beats K-State this year.

KSU will murder NU in 2007.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

You said it was a transition from Solich to Callahan.

Now you're making excuses.

Callahan has yet to achieve what Solich did.  The real question is, will Huskerfan accept that Pederson screwed up after Callahan fails to get 10 wins in his fourth year and doesn't even sniff a New Years day bowl?

BTW:  I see ol' Frankie has really done wonders with the sad excuse for a football program in Ohio.   And you want to bet me a jersey on the KSU game?  LOL.

Completely overhauling the offensive and defensive systems, which necessitates finding a whole different kind of athletes is pretty good, as excuses go.

Callahan got us to a New Year's Day Bowl last year. Been there...done that. We'll likely win the Big 12 this year and be playing in a BCS Bowl. In the meantime, you guys finished about seventh last year in a twelve team league, and squeaked into a made up bowl, where you were promptly embarrassed by Rutgers.

Willing to make a wager on it? I'll bet a jersey with you too. MJRod, despite his bluster, apparently lacks the confidence in his team to make that bet. That's fine...the game is several months away, and there's a chance he can get a testicle transplant in the meantime.

Is that what happened in 2002 and 2003?   I think it's a poor excuse.. if not reality.

You'll notice that the 2002-2004 period was during the beginning of the Solich-Callahan transition.
The game last year wasn't even that close, as there was no threat at any time that you guys would actually score a TD, and we called off the dogs early.
So we aren't allowed a coach transition period? Great unbiased analysis.

TAMU - Beat them last year.
UT - had them beat until the last minute.
OU - Beat us in Big 12.
OSU - Had them down 16 at half and blew it.
Mizzou - Beat them last year.

This year:
TAM - Win at home.
UT - Unknown.
OSU Win at home.
Mizzou - We beat the nose picker at their house.

Still waiting for one K-State fan who's got enough confidence in their team to take me up on my bet.

It's amusing how despite your bluster, you all seem to realize that Nebraska is the far better team, and will beat you handily this year in Lincoln.

So in the time between now and the game, if any of you have that life changing experience where your balls drop, and you decide to man up and actually support your team, feel free to take me up on the bet. In the meantime, I'll just realize that you're a bunch of cowards, aware of your team's impotence.

Dude, don't take him up on any bets until he chooses a team.  He's a bandwagon fan that only likes Nebraska during football season, and Creighton in basketball season.

When he supports them in basketball and other sports, that's when he can be classified as a Nebraska fan for all betting reasons/purposes.

So we have a bet on this year's Nebraska-K-State game then? If Nebraska wins, you owe me a Nebraska football jersey of my choice. If K-State wins, I owe you a K-State jersey of your choice. Do you want to put a maximum value on the bet? Somewhere in the $50-75 range should work.

Also, MJRod, are you willing to serve as a witness to the bet? Maybe we could make the terms a sticky, so that there's no dispute later about what was agreed to.
