Anyone have thoughts on him?  He sounds like a good athlete that was the best player on his team.  At his size, he could grow into an H back or maybe somewhere on defense.  This kid gives me a weird feeling.  He says it is his dream to play for us and we are his only offer but why hasn't he jumped on the gravy train?  Senior moment, does anyone remember his dad that I guess played for us?

    Hey, basketball!!!
LOL, Crabtree said that he would look over Brodrick's tape when he gets it and base that on 2 or 3 star. You can only imagine since the Klein stars situation Crabtree will put Brodrick at a 3!!!

Crabtree's a tool, it will happen!!!

A free 3*!!!!!!!! Good work ksunumber1stunner!!!!!!!

A strong argument can be made that he is underrated. A 5.3? Crabby must have been upset with us complaining about the 5.4s not being 5.5s.

LOL. How bout Harper at a 5.7, 3 star???? WTF??? Crabtree was raving about this kid about how he's an easy 4* and top 20 athlete. And then when Rivals finds out we are in the lead for Chris he just barely isn't a 4*.

If in someway Harper finishes the season and still isn't a 4*, it better be because he was injured, or else total bush league!!!!!

This is true for all KSU commits.

I must admit, it's fun to bitch about stars.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

If you rely on his analysis of recruits, you'll be left with nothing worthwhile.

You don't call yourself the guy in charge of the Kansas rankings and overlook Darius Parish and then still have much credibility.  Kids with offers from 2 Big 12 schools and that size in Wichita aren't hidden.  The fact is Parish didn't go to any rivals camp or latch on with Butler's little football group in Wichita.  Wasn't Crabby in charge of Krehbiel being the top player in Kansas for most of the year?  Everyone was pulling his offer and rivals was nothing be reactionary in their handling of his ranking.  Crabby ranks kids based on offers, did the kid go to a rivals combine, and fan fare.  He is no more of a recruiting analyst than you or me.

Yeah Brodrick Smith is a pretty good QB. He has a crap ton of athletic ability, and he has tattoos.

For sure, he will bring some seasoning into this albino recruiting class.

He's pretty good, and from what I hear, is pretty much K-State's to lose. I know that's pretty much what everyone can grasp from the articles, but he's pretty solid to K-State. Garden City moved him to quarterback kind of like Arkansas played McFadden.

Maybe if he commits, he can convince Harper to...  :blank:

I am from SW Kansas, he is a decent football player.  I wouldn't say he is as decent of a person.  Maybe Coach Prince can keep him out of the trouble that no one else can.  I like that some players from SW Kansas are getting some attention, I just hope that he doesn't ruin it for the rest of the kids.

Nice to see some fellow sw kansas people here.  On the subject of Mr. Smith, I am only basing my opinion of him from personal experience.  He dated a few girls from Lakin at one time and have been around him through both football and basketball.  My personal feelings about his charcter have nothing to do with him as a football player.  Although I do still feel like there are other players in SW Kansas that are just as good as he is.  But I am just a girl...

I'm a few years older than him, but from what I hear, what character problems he may have had are getting better.

I sure hope so.  I would hate to see any talent go to waste.  Again, maybe Coach Prince will be what he needs to finish up the process.  Scott City is a nice community.  Most of us out here in SW Kansas are pretty good people.  Just ask Coach Prince

I'm a research and extension intern. So I work in the extension office... I'm the guy that has been writing the ag articles in the recorder if you get it.

I'm from Syracuse in SW Kansas and I guess I haven't heard much about Brodrick Smith.    I must admit that I am in the sticks--only 15 miles from the Colorado border.

Do you golf? If so, you should play Buffalo Dunes just south of Garden City while you're in SWK.
