Judging from his own comments Brown'll head to USC before Florida.

    KSU Super Fan
Long time reader of this site, discovered it searching for info on Arthur Brown... but I must say that you're delusional if you think Kansas State is a "rival" of Texas.  My buddy is a UT fan and he's laughing at your claim that a 3-2 record is ownership.  Sure UT fans hate KSU, but they don't consider yall rivals.  Beat em in Austin this fall and I could see them start identifying you as a rival.

By the way... you seem pretty positive that Brown will be a Wildcat.  Is that because of inside info or anything in particular?  I've seen some vids of him and having Urban see him in person means we want him BAD.  Just as long as he doesn't go to F$U!
Your friend that is a UT fan probably never even attended the university. Thus, he wouldn't know who UT's rivals were. Seriously, we own them.

On Arthur Brown.. there is a thread somewhere on here where I revealed the inside dish on him. You can go and try and find it if you want. Maybe a poster on this board would even be kind enough to put up the link for you.

Finally, I find it odd that a Gator fan is a "long time reader." I smell another sock.

Don't try to reason with 'em, my friend.  It'll only confuse 'em and make 'em more irrational.
Sure, Nubbie.

If it was a sock wouldn't they have seen the other thread?  Anyone could ask you about Brown, why would they need the disguise?

We wouldn't give information to Nubs or ku fans, they know this.

Would we want to give info to a UF fan?  And it's kind of public, you put it on a thread.

Not that many people saw it.. It's buried so far back. We'll be fine as long as some douche doesn't bump it. It won't hurt our recruitment with Arthur. It will just piss of the other recruits (most of which we didn't offer) that are doing the little tour of the Southern schools because it could jeopardize the amount of donations they receive..

    DOD Take Two
I know I'm a couple days late on this (out of town for the internship) but I thought I would add my 2 cents worth.

I want to beat Texas badly. However, I can't take a win of Texas over ku or visa versa. It is obvious that a win at Texas would do more than a win at ku. However, I think we need them both. We are expected to lose to Texas by most. Beating UT would be great to defeat a powerful team, and well, I hate Texas so I'd love to beat them at Austin. However, losing to ku this year would almost put the nail in the coffin with our program. We haven't lost 3 years out of 4 to ku in football since 1979 (when we lots in '79, '77 and '76). That would be a real low for us.

We need to beat UT to prove our worth, but we have to beat ku to defend it. The season we must be more consistent... meaning, win both.

I think a win @ Auburn would replace a UT win in terms of credibility.

In overall terms, yes you are correct. However, a win at UT would help us with Big 12 standings. But a win against a strong SEC team would make a statement.

As long as we sweep ku in Basketball...I would take the UT football win...but if that doesn't happen then I want the ku game...because I don't want to listen to those cocky @$$holes.

They won't shut up even if we swept them.  I just want to win every home game against them.

A win over Texas does more for us on the national front, but to hear the homosexuals chirp "3 out of the last 4" for the next year would just be too much to take. Beat ku.

    The "other" KSU
I was at the game the last time we beat UT, watching 83000 people shuffle out of that stadium one-by-one was almost as nice as watching Simineau ROCK "The Major". A win in Austin would rule and I would gladly trade that for Gay U win, but I would trade a losing season in FB for a drubbing and a sweep in Roundball and an invite to the tourney.

I'd rather ku beat UT than KSU, it'd be a bigger win for the program. I can see why some KSU fans would think the same way of ku and UT.

Take it from a K-State fan, it is fun beating a team you're not supposed to beat. I can understand your yearning to beat Texas.
