Did someone record that?
I'd like to hear those comments.
I think Jeff has been extremely fair, and maybe Prince is taking good natured shots at him, but at the same time you gotta wonder.
I think all this did was show that Jeff is doing his job.. and well.
He was fair up until the Butler piece. There's Butler's opinion of the matter, and then there are facts.
Butler states that KSU passes over KS kids for 4th and 5th rate Texas and Florida Talent. He uses Frank Delarue as an example.
A running back who should have gotten a scholarship.
Nevermind KSU already had three runningbacks signed in the class all from....Kansas. I'm sorry, but y every school has a limit on the number of players
they'll take at a certain position. For KSU -- I'm sure three was enough at RB.
So b/c Delarue is tight with the Butler clan and they think he should be on scholly, Prince should take
4 RBs? Would have been awesome not having that last scholly for a DT (Abana) that was snapped up in the 11th hour.
Ever since Prince has been here, his main recruiting Mantra has been "keeping KS talent in KS at KSU" He's shouted that from mountaintops and extended offers and accepted commitments from more in-state guys than we EVER saw in the Snyder era.
And if Butler was speaking about the Snyder era -- then it's a non-issue. He's not coach anymore. Prince is. The philosophies change.
Travis Tannahill...unranked, two star, not in the KS Top 10 kid is t exactly the type of Kid according to Butler, KSU passes on.
