Anybody else will be an upgrade.  Plus, we might not have to start conference play on the road every year with that loser gone.
Show me defense.

I hated Weiberg to begin with. Remember he told the NCAA to take Tech over KSU for the tourney.

While things are moving around in the Big 12, it would be nice to see WSU get a football program, let it grow for a couple of year and then we can kick out Baylor and move WSU into the Big 12.

I can't wait to hear that the next Commish is a "university of Texas alumni".  Then the ownage of the Big 12 by Texas will be complete.

Sorry, did I say Big 10?  I meant Big 10 network.  As in he's voluntarily moving from a job as Big XII commish to working on a Big 10 TV station.

Good to see head of the Big XII conference is a destination job.

That's all we need is some suit from Texas to be the new commiss...the north will get even less than they do now.

Weiberg can go...didn't like him anyhow.

ugh, good point.

if the next commisioner is from any Texas school, the big 8 schools are officially screwed.

    The very best.
dodds is a KSU alum, right?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

100% agree...even though it feels like the big 8 schools have already been getting screwed for the past 8 years.

Yes, and this is why we own Texas in football and basketball.  Dodds provides inside information.  If he were Commish, that would probably be a good thing, imo, as we'd get inside info on all schools.

What makes you think that? Weiberg was a K-State graduate. What did you do for us?

-Not sure on the point of  Weiberg pushing for TTECH in the Ncaas.

-Weiberg was too into making money for the schools so throw out 'parity'.

The television contract was also a sore spot allowing Espn to just show bigmarket teams.

THERE NEEDS TO BE A RULE TO STOP THE ARMS RACE IN ATHLETIC FACILITIES.

$$$= just to buy recruits by big oil boys.

I am taking my comments back if he was pushing for revenue sharing.

Then he is the GOOD GUY.

Wait for Keitz's show.

He never did anything for this University as is...

Too many times he was caught underneath the desk with UT.

Does anyone else find it a little ironic that right after Weiberg cuts a TV deal with ABC/ESPN (dropping Fox Sports) for basically fewer total televised Big 12 games, now he's VP of a collaberation between the Big 10 and Fox Cable?

That doesn't smell like an inside job at all...nuh uh.
