Probably not, Quincy was a one of a kind talent. He could be the next Jesse Martinez, though.

according to someone I probably think Pierce is Jerry Rice.

But in reality..no, he's not Quincy.  Taller than Quincy but not the burst, speed, power, or change of direction.  Quincy was big time.

Pierce is elusive and he has speed but he's not Quincy.

doubtful...Gonzalez could never sniff a true 10.9 100 and he certainly would not lead a Cali. JC conference as a kick returner, which Pierce did.  It's obvious from his insidekstatsports video that he has elusiveness and his coach talked about that being a very beneficial part of his game...particularly given his size.  And "elusiveness" is not something anybody would say to characterize Gonzo.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

now now fatty.  I think Gonzo could be a great asset as an H-Back for us...he would kill a LB or SS.  Of course he would actually have to catch the ball when it was thrown to him but if you have a 3 wideout set w/ an H-Back and Gonzo is the H-Back...advantage KSU in that match-up.

Remember when Brandon Clark would catch a pass in the open field, forcing you to get up and scream "touchdown!" Untill you quickly realize he 5.0 speed get him tackled soon after.....

yep, but it moved the chains and tilted field position.  But to be fair to Brandon he had really good speed once upon a time but was slowed greatly by chronic foot injuries.  Supposedly it was really bad that last year and he was just gritting it out.  I think he almost had to give up football at one time while at KSU.

They can't all be homerun hitters...  Sometimes you just need a guy that can get the first down.  :ksu:

Last time I knew Darnell was kicked out of Tampa because he was hitting the bong.

Darnell got the boot for road rage.

Perhaps he's the next White Rice, aka Joe Lawson.
