    The very best.
We can't get rid of CU. They are a "cool" school, big 12 needs more of those.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

OU took the cake after the pregame warmups (aka, intimidate the other school by bullying (read: physically abuse) their marching band).
don't get me started.

S. Parker, I think it's rather apparent that KSU fans do not possess the hatred for NU as vise versa.  I think it's pretty funny...I don't think we like you but it's not a burning passion hatred...I'd call it hatred what NU fans feel for KSU.

My pick was Colorado.  The way their fans act at games...Barney, Neuweasel...the SID releases..the CU professor that called Americans terrorists.  The only good thing they have done is hire an EMAW as president.

But you kind of get the feeling their new coach will be tough to hate...he's just so screwy.  Loonier than Leach and far more weird.

Anyway, CU per capita has to be the worst. I mean them screaming, "And you still live in Kansas" and "Fire up the tractors" to dejected KSU fans after the 2002 loss hurt. Bad.

I don't hate you guys. In fact, two really close friends of mine are KSU alums and they follow every move your teams make. Your fans have made me mad on rivals before, but it was only a couple of instances. I have noticed that there is a huge contrast between what your fans are normally like and what they are like at games, however, but that goes both ways. Some of my Nebraska friends got drunk and acted like assholes to your fans at the KSU-NU game this year.

I think a lot of our fans do hate your school, but it's not completely without reason. From what I understand some of your alums on the airwaves in the Kansas City area used to go out of their way to antagonize NU fans, after the 1998 game your fans made a picture mocking Crouch's beheading, after the same game your fans posted signs that said "losers turn here" for the Nebraska fans, there were the threads making fun of Berringer's death, and then, most recently, your alums made arrangements with Ron and Josh Freeman that were disgustingly shady, and that left us in a really bad situation.

I don't hate you guys at all. In fact, I like your fans, and I understand that a lot of what you do is just to antagonize our fans because they tend to be overly dramatic--in fact I avoid posting on our boards lately because our fans are grating on me with their whining. I'm just trying to point out, however, that you shouldn't be surprised that a lot of them don't like KSU. You know as well as I do that there's some bad history there.

We are pretty classless bastards.  I have a hard time not laughing about some of those.

Seriously though.  I don't think the Ron Freeman to office thing was prearranged.  With how &@#%ed up our state government is, it was more likely a popularity contest. "Hey, aren't you Josh Freemans dad?" "Why yes, yes I am."  "Sweet!  Your son is awesome!  I love K-state!  And hiring you will help boost our popularity with minorities!"

I do seriously dislike most NU fans I come across online, but the ones I meet when at games are pretty unaggressive.  They do have a giant superiority complex, but are harmless for the most part.  Plus they're like the only neighbor program that lives for football besides us, so you gotta at least respect their passion.  I think a lot of this is because they've accepted a large dose of humility since Tom Osborne retired.

CU fans are ruthless.  But also worthless.  It would be easy to hate them due to the cups of piss/marshmallows with batteries in them/keying of cars, but then you remember they're all on drugs and don't really know what they're doing(I mean seriously they threw @#%$ at their own team two years ago), and will likely be in a mental hospital before the decade is up.  So there's kind of a pity factor there.

I can't hate Mizzou.  We've owned them almost my entire lifetime.  And they have Gary Pinkel as a coach.

Iowa State..indifference.  Definitely the team I have the least hostility towards in the north

A&M..I really hate these &*$@!ers.  Not only are they weird, but ever since that miraculous overtime win over us in 98 that kept us from the NC, we haven't beat them.  Frustrating.  Their fans are a really freaky cult.

Tech..Meh. I hate playing them, love watching them, and think leach is weird as &*$@!.  They'll always be behind Texas and Oklahoma.

Texas..I love these guys.  They're always good, and we own them, and it's always on national TV to further their emberassment.

Oklahoma State..Indifferent.  Irrelevant for the most part.

Baylor..Baptists..LOL

OU..Their fans are giant cocks.  And they stole Stoops, Venables, and Mangino from us.  And &*$@!ed up our recruiting when they did.  But I felt very avenged when we destroyed "the best team ever" in the 03 championship game.  So I am mostly indifferent now.  Still wish Venables was our coach.

And ku.

What's not to hate about them?  They are evil.  The black wart of Kansas.  It's like all of the scum from all over the state has gathered in one place, and it's Lawrence.  Then add in the spoiled spawn of the snobby Johnson County parents who don't want to be out of short driving distance from their parents.  It creates one giant cluster&*$@! of evil.  There's a reason their county is ALWAYS the one county that votes differently than the state.  They hide their stupidity under the guise of being "progressive."  It's the breeding grounds of a new generation of "it's the governments fault" whiners that never take responsibility for their own actions or lives.

Also, their sports fans don't understand anything about the game of football, and there is an intolerable amount of bandwagon fans in Kansas City that have no ties to the university whatsoever but love ku because KC doesn't have a pro basketball team.

The only thing worse is the "I'm a K-state football fan and ku basketball fan" bandwagoners.  The absolute worst fans in all sports.  Fans that only support a team in the sport they're good at, then jump on another bandwagon once another sport starts for a team good in that sport, aren't actually fans at all.  They're soulless homeless bastards.  I believe Nebraskans are familiar with this in a lesser sense with the Creighton/Nebraska fans.  It's not quite the same though since Creighton doesn't have a football team.  That would be like a fan that rooted for K-state in football and Wichita State in basketball.

anyways.

i still go with A&M.  &*$@! SIRR PARKER.
dude, i have lived in johnson county all my life and when ku basketball season rolls around at my high school, it's like everyone turns into a ku fan. i absolutley hate it.  i'm one of maybe 3 true kstate fans in my class of about 400 (i'm not exaggerating this one bit, i swear).  we kind of stick together because it gets so ridiculous when the ku fans gang up on us whenever they beat us.  although, it has taught me to be strong and how to deal with these mangaloids.  the sad thing is, every single one of my friends is a ku fan.

I feel your pain.  I too went to a JoCo high school.

If KC gets a pro basketball team, the huge amount of bandwagoners will quickly jump off the college ball bandwagon in support of the NBA team.  I actually hate the NBA, but would love to get a team in KC for this exact reason.

yeah they are good friends to me, but i just have to deal with their obnoxiousness (sp?) a few times a year. f*cking JoCo, if it wasn't for the really good school district i'm in (hate to admit it, but i am getting a pretty good education with all these ku grads as my teachers), i'd do whatever i could to get my parents to move.  i live in a subdivision that makes all the f*cking houses look the same and we can't do crap like put in an above ground pool, and that crap pisses me off.

It's funny that you guys say "Johnson county kids" and I know exactly what you are talking about. I went to school with a bunch of them.

There were three of them. One of them was polite, sober, and embarrassed, but the other two were drunk, yelling at the refs, cussing at Josh Freeman, and taunting your fans. If I recall correctly, they weren't even in the Nebraska section. I think they were in the middle of a bunch of your fans. I don't know where section 13 is though.

There were 3 guys behind my wife and my son that were very nice; until about the 3rd qtr when a fourth came in to join them... he was apparently out in the parking lot drinking the entire game... He wasn't that bad, just reallying annoying... Everytime NU did something good or KSU something bad he'd scream about 3 inches away from my ear  "UH OHHHH... What's little Josh gonna do now?!?!!?   UHH Ohhhh!!!!"   Got really annoying after about an hour.
