The guy writes something ONCE A WEEK and people act as if there isn't news around here on a daily basis. Heck, he was a week late on a Frank Martin interview and people still went nutty. It's a little strange that people feel the need to post that he's a God once a week. It's beginning to feel a tad organized from the other site.

Fitz and his crew of dorks just may be the most pathetic thing I've ever seen on the net.  Maybe they always sucked, but their product really sucks now.  Unless you want to read the message board postings of stupid old ladies and sunshine pumping blowhards, or you find that stories written by junior high English class drop-outs are entertaining, there's really no reason to subscribe to GPC.  Seriously, it's that bad and that unprofessional. 

All of Fitz's "inside" information falls into the following categories: 

- it is completely made up and vague enough to mean anything he wants after the fact
- it originates on the free board at GoPowerjerk or some other free board
- it comes from a newspaper article or is reported by other media

The stuff he lifts from other sources he then brands as his own information and claims to have been "first with the story".  If his vague-ass made up stuff ends up being sort of what happens, he claims that "his source was right" and he's says that he's glad he "didn't let the information out too early".  The whole thing is a huge scam. 

I would advise anyone thinking about subscribing to that site to NOT.  Anything that "breaks there" probably already broke somewhere else.  Even if it didn't, wait a few hours and read about it in a story written by someone with an IQ above that of a farm animal.

I really like this forum.  I like GoPowercat too, though.  I have no love for the guys that run it though.  I'm definitely not a Fitz fan, but I'm no real mjrod fan either.  I do think that dscott writes pretty well, but he sure seems like kind of a dufus otherwise.  Gates does a good job at what he does.

As far as the JMart vs GP battle.  I just think that JMart has more credibility just because of where he works.  I think that bothers Fitzgerald.  I kind of agree with many over at GP that JMart's information is not really better or fresher, it's just nice to see it somewhere else other than at the homer site.  There were some nice quotes in this article, but GP has just as many quotes and just as much information.  I just appreciate the fact that JMart is at least working the beat, even though I still think he has a Ron Prince attitude that I could do without.
